Shoveling snow sucks!

A pic of me and my son last winter :) I bought the warmest and lightest coat I could for winter. The M65 Parka -- I highly recommend one for any Englishmen living in Canada!

I've always believed that old farmers knew what they were talking about when predicting winters. So here's my take. This prediction of a long cold, snowy winter is looking pretty good. The muskrat's are already building their winter homes. IT'S NOT EVEN SEPT YET. talking about it wither my old man the other day, he said he hasn't in his entire life seen muskrats start building this early. another secret the muskrat have given away over the years is in the height of their lodges. the bigger they build, and the taller they build for, shows the anticipation for the amount of snow and the temperature they are expecting to get. you really can't argue nature sometimes. it's like the way horses know when it's going to rain and shit. the muskrat tend to know whats up.

i for one am praying for big dumps of fresh pow. fuck ya!

I said this to my husband the other day. THis year all-around has been one of the coldest on record for a long time. I mean the summer here usually I have to have the AC pumping because it's 30+ and closer to 45 with humidity. I put the ac on less then ten times this entire spring/summer. We're definitely in for a cold winte.r

My tomatoes are unusually small (I usually grow MUTANTS) and they are already turning red.... it's not even September yet I shouldn't be harvesting them for another month. Two years ago I was still getting tomatoes well into November. It's definitely gonna be a cold one.

Global coldening.

Yes...historically before the planet goes through a cooling trend, it's preceeded by a global WARMING trend. Wonder what excuse environmentalist whackjobs will make this time :P
