I have never used any of the other scripts so I could not say what all they do.

My script :

- WAX : plays a continous stream of videos to make small clips seem longer(you set the limit)
- comes ready to load free video content by entering your referral code and clicking "go".
- it can auto-crawl 100's of sponsor hosted galleries at a time to grab video
- it auto crops and makes thumbnails
- you can select to load the video on your server or leech it,
- you can convert all the video to .flv
- full action FLV player with fade in preview thumbs that are clickable
- users can upload video(if activated) and they can convert to .flv
- comes with 3000 sponsor imbedded videos ready to import with a couple of clicks
- has choker content which are cobranded leeched video pages with LONG movies
- has EZ content where you select a sponsor site and the script loads all the hosted
galleries, banner, affiliate link and 2257 link and then allows you to choose a number
of galleries and keeps track so you don't reuse them.
- can select 10 of so different site layout colors
- site templates can be editted for a custom design
- comes with a search fucntion
- auto builds "TAGS"
- real time display of what other surfers are viewing
- extensive raw stats in the admin

and a lot more things.

You need to rename or remove your "index.html" because it will come up before
the "index.shtml" which is the site.

If you wanted a warning page then put the warning in the "index.html" and link it to
the "index.shtml".

Actually it's easy to install but reading all the instructions and watching the
video takes longer than it takes for me to install it. :1orglaugh

The thing is, for someone who does this often it's a snap.
But for a first timers all the little stuff about file type, upload binary or ascii, and
file permissions can get them stuck. And if something is not right on the server
it's hard to figure it out.

Basically if you set you FTP transefer mode to the proper file extensions as shown in the
video then upload the tube folder. And chmod 755 install.cgi and run it, then you are
thru.

But if you mess up the ftp tranfer file types then things will not work correctly.

Well, I've installed lots of stuff without issues, but I've fubar'ed something on this. I'm getting a 500 error after I input a u/p.

Then again, I have had 6 icq conversations and 3 interruptions from the munchkin since I started installing it, so I can't imagine how I could have lost my focus and gotten off track. :winkwink:

That means that you server is missing either imagemagick, perlmagick, libwww or
one of the libwww modules.

See the test script above and tell your host that you need that to run.
