Alec,
I am on vacation with my son. You knew that. I will deal with this when I get back to the office next Monday. |

Take "Maybe" out :winkwink: |
There are a lot of shows, but options are good. Although it makes it hard to schedule and choose which ones to go to. SF for Cybernet is too damn far for me anyway, I liked the one time that they had it Tampa better since I am in FL anyway.

Yo guys...there's this cool new thing. It's called a "telephone" They even have "wireless" ones where you can call from anywhere. They are called "cell phones" They work a lot better than message boards, carrier pigeons, and/or smoke signals.

I like the idea of having a few "super shows" a year. Even though realistically this will probably never happen. :-)

Well, if given a choice between the two I would pick S.F. Less people, but more opportunities to meet with top level people. The quality is much higher, where in Vegas you get quantity. They're both good shows, but I'd give Cybernet the nod because of that. If you want to drink and party, Vegas is a great place. If you want to do business then the Cybernet show is fantastic! By the way, the average recorded high in June is 100, July is 106. The show last year was brutally hot, getting up to about 120. A winter or spring show in Vegas would be a lot more pleasant. There's nothing pleasant about being in Las Vegas in the summer.

On the poll thread you posted about moving the show dates, 28 people said move it to 20 that said keep it. In reading through that thread I so far have not seen anyone say to move it to June. In all honesty June in Vegas is not much cooler than July in Vegas. Why don't you guys do what Airek suggested which I think is a fabulous idea and would not step on anyone's toes :)

Sorry Alec, you and Xbiz rock but brining this here just not cool.
It is clear there are way to many shows these days, you can see it in attendance and at the sponsorship level as everyone fights for the same buck. These overlap problems will continue to worsen until several shows have to die off, its inevitable. |

I just think there are better ways to deal with this for both of you. |
