republican = loves life, family and values, wants to see a strong america where you can raise kids and teach them right and wrong and not subject them to unwanted filth.

republicans = loves current america, wants to keep loving america how it is
democrat = wants more government to control their lives
republican = wants less government in their lives

Over the long haul of politics your statement is correct. As far as spending goes they could have been lil more fiscally responible but alot was compromised with democratic congress to get spending bills in, in support of the war. Second I don't care which party was in office there budget would have been blown to hell and caught shit for it... How many administrations whether it was gore or buish could have dealt with 9/11, Iraq, Afganistan, Katrina and etc...
Granted you can debate a couple points there but no matter what any administrations budget was fucked. As far as katrina's problems lets not lose sight that its a local matter and not a federal matter till the state seeks it. LA, never caught the shit they should have politically for there ill prepared system.
Again no matter which office was in power in LA would have caught shit because shit should have been done years and years ago...
Remember politics is a game of pass the buck.... reagan set up years of good solid economics , bush started something he should have finished, clinton didnt kill obama, bush gets that shit with 9/11, and the shit continues.... and always will...
And for those who are bitching about the war who started the korean or vietnam war? a democrat...
all this shit is mere politics, do you want govt telling you what to do with your money or do you want to do with your money with what you want? Essentially thats what taxes are... They don't have confidence in the private sector and how they spend money...
