That must be crazy for all of those that lost their houses, you figure that's EVERYTHING gone that they've had and there's nothing to even dig through. At least this guy still has everything he owns sitting there. I wonder what the condition is of the stuff in his house, I wouldn't think it'd be that bad, unless there's some broken windows that let the water flood in. He'll just need to find a ladder to get up into the house now, ha ha ha.

I am sure after he/she deals with his insurance company, they won't feel so lucky and probably have wished it didn't stand.

Thats EXACTLY what I was thinking. Yea his house maybe be screwed, but at least he still has all of his possessions.

I'm going to call that guy's HOA and complain that the grass needs to be watered - it looks real dry in front there.

Pretty sure most beach houses like that in the area are not actual "homes". They usually seem to be rental units/timeshares and the like - as in no one really lives in them full time.

At least when we had a beach house for a couple weeks near Galveston that was the impression I got.

Still sucks though
