It wont "fix" the problem, but it sure as hell makes it a lot less painful and sometimes *euphoric* lol Seriously though, I have had it for 10 years now and since I was done growing then and am assuming you are now, back braces are useless, breast reduction wont correct the problem (the damage has already been done) and surgery is def. a LAST RESORT... Just get a good doc and massage therapist! Hope this helps! If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me... (p.s. I have large boobs too so I know EXACTLY where you are coming from!) |
Curved Spine/Scoliosis + Career in Adult Biz = Direct relation?????? ;)
sorry....... Just trying to make light of a situation that sucks (and that most people dont realize is painful and frustrating, both physically and cosmetically!) |
Dayum girl. Do some strength training as you said and work those back muscles! It also gets rid of that annoying arm fat that some people get! In my area we call them lunch lady arms

I have upper back and neck problems and my shoulders are out of whack also, unfortunately none of this has anything to do with big boobs! :(
I tend to sit twisted up in my chair and its a habit I just cant break so all I can say is thank god for my chiropractor. Every 2 weeks and it cuts down on the back aches and migraines I have gotten since I was 8. Just make sure you find a doctor that works with you. I get heat therapy, massage, stretching and then adjustment. Its great and feels as good as going to a spa! |
I'm gonna need a full frontal pic of your boobs to see if you are feeding us full of shit or not.

Is the S curve between your front and back with the shoulders being additionally tilted, or is it side-side?

thanks so much guys, and gals!
After reading WonderWoman's post and some of the others that offer advice, I went on to evaluate my work posture, and heck, it sucks! My monitor is way too low (I just lifted it about 7 inches, but it's still low compared to my line of sight); my feet are always propped on a small bench under my computer desk, and my chair is way too far away from my monitor. I'm working on correcting those right now. After that, comes the exercising. I'm planning on going this weekend to enroll on a yoga class, and I will check out tai chi as well. Thank you so very much! You guys (and again, gals!) are a great bunch! Kuddos to y'all! |
I remember in school my shoulders were slightly lopsided, can't remember if a doc actually said it or it was just friends theorising, but we DID have a very heavy set of books, and I only ever used the one strap on my backpack...

By the way, the specialist I went to see is an orthopedic doctor. He's a friend of the family so he "did me" for free :) |
GFY is awesome. You ask for honest help and you get guys saying "shove your legs in the air bitch".
Anyway, I teach ballroom dancing. Part of dancing is perfect posture. Most of ballroom students can't stand up straight to save their lives when they start, but by the time they taken 6 months of lessons they are 2 inches taller. I too used to slouch. But after a few years of ballroom dancing, you couldn't catch me slouching ever. It's a whole new way of thinking when you really learn how to *properly* stand. So why not take up ballroom dancing? It's fun, and it will teach you and give you practice in really standing up straight and forcing your back into correct posture.:2 cents: |
Yeah you have to act like there is a string coming out of the top of your head pulling you up, and correct your posture.
I learned that in dance class back in high school. Posture is soooo important. |
