Fighting -- I never really understood the idea of starting unprovoked fights with random strangers. Somethings are worth fighting over, but not because you have had five pints of lager, and a complete stranger looks like a cunt.

coffee, crocks, sports (I rather play it myself, it's like watching someone else eat chocolate), fat tasting birthday cakes, oversized pants on guys, fantasy movies, smoking, drugs, night clubs, tanning... and a lot more probably.

Actually, when I break it down, I could lump all 3 of those together in a way. Which is probably why I don't get any of them.
And no, sending me friend requests on facebook or myspace will not automatically get you a +1 cause if you're not my friend, you're not added.

4. The need to go out and party all the time.

I agree with this one from the post above. I've had some great parties in my house or at friends houses. Good music, drinks... and we can actually hear each other! It's amazing.

5. Foreign films - It seems that if a film has some tears in it and some sub titles, the avant guard posh to do wannabe crowd jumps all over it as a real film and 100 times better than anything released in hollywood... ever. To me, subtitles, some tears and a lack of special effects does not an instant work of art make.

6. works of art - this brings me to many works of art. News stories of 6 year olds finger painting being mistaken by art critics as a priceless masterpiece always amuse the hell out of me because, although many pieces in a museum are masterpieces, a lot if it just a pile of paint thrown onto a canvas.

I'm sure there's more but there's also more work to do.

It seems nearly impossible to escape. You either don't work very hard, don't make much money and are basically stuck at home all the time because everything costs money so you can't afford to do anything OR you work your ass off, spend most of your time thinking about work or working and when you do take that 2 weeks off per year to go to the bahamas or whatever, you're glued to your blackberry because you live in constant fear of losing it all.

I don't get why club DJ's are held in such high regard and made into celebrities or why they are so popular..

Almost forgot! I'm not a big fan of popcorn that I don't pop myself.
My first job was working at a movie theater and the popcorn was popped upstairs daily and then brought down in big bags to fill the glass cases.
One of the guys who regularly had the task of popping popcorn was caught in the act while he was jacking off into the kernels before they were put in the popper.
He was arrested and when they asked if he had done it more than once he said he did it hundreds of times.
