Did you tell them exactly what you do? Or did you get them one of the other online classics like marketing, websites, etc?

I am quiet and only socialize a little. I don't think they like us very much because our lawn isn't as freshly manicured as most of the others. :-) We mow when we mow, if it isn't cut perfectly, oh well. That's why I don't live in a HOA neighborhood :-)

I don't like to socialize with them too much because I don't know them and they could be crazy sociopaths for all I know. One set of neighbors seem okay, they just had an unruly dog for a while and one of them is a cop so he seems pretty down to earth. Yeah I know, I'm guarded but that's the way it should be until you truly know someone. I don't want my neighbors gossiping about all of my dirty laundry either. And we ALL know, housewives and other such sorts just LOVE that! I don't want to add fuel to the fire lol!

When I lived with my parents we lived in the city with the oldest average age in all of Canada. It really is. Qualicum Beach, look it up.
Anyway, our neighbors were all old as fuck and would die all the time so we never bothered getting to know them.

When I moved out I moved to a yuppy area in Orange County, CA so all my neighbors were uppity white idiots. I had no interest in talking to them. Since being in my place now we are surrounded by FOBBY Asians, all vietnamese. They are loud, rude and try to act like they don't speak English, even when they see me and they are speaking spotty yet understandable English to their kids. They slam doors, beat each other up (requires calls to cops constantly) and drive like maniacs in 100ft stretches in tiny gated communities.

I fuck with them any slight chance I get.

I like my place in the valley (Tarzana to be exact). It's kind of a small complex, with maybe 20 or so apartments. I say hi when I walk by people, and everyone is very friendly. I am not home often, and when I am I work or sleep. Don't really have many get-togethers since I don't have all my furniture yet, and most of my other buddies have more accommodating places to hold shindigs.
