Isn't the adult filter optional? The list of prohibited sites was leaked last month
and it was only a few hundred or thousand sites I think.

If it stops classroom computers at school and young families accessing porn then
what's the harm? Adult users won't be affected.

While I agree they did want something that let people know who they are. But if you look back in history 99.9% of things done in that manner fail.
