If you get into it thinking of Masons as a rolodex or blackberry you're sure to be disappointed by how old-fashioned the whole scene is. If you do not have an appreciation of ritual, walking around an altar in specific patterns, memorizing some very old shit, and wearing little aprons over your cock then it's not for you. It's not something you should do just to suck up up to everybody thinking it will help you get ahead in business, you have to be ready to flip some pancakes, take care of old guys and their old wives, and immerse yourself in something that's not very modern/is extremely unfamiliar to most people.
