I usually buy myself a big ticket item every December and consider it my birthday gift. Usually it's a new Mustang, but I like the car I have now so I'm keeping it. Last year I bought myself a new 48 inch flat screen.

There doesn't seem to be anything I want this year except for maybe all seasons of the Sopranos.

I like the "pool money to buy something cool" gift, and everyone gets off the hook that way.

My birthday is very close to Christmas so I usually treat myself to a concert, new computer, or maybe a new guitar? :thumbsup

I just bought myself a bunch of presents before Christmas that I've already put to good use:
46" LCD TV (1080 of course)
XBox 360 to go with my Wii and PS3
New Dave Kinsey artwork for my theater room
New sitting area for the theater room

For Christmas this year, my wife and I are just going to take a weekend trip to Disneyland, and we're buying some gifts for the local Shade tree shelter for abused women and children :)

Last year I did.. don't know about this year.. Will see.

Sadly I do. I go to buy stuff for other people and always come back with a few things for me as well. I am bad, I know.

I certainly do. It the best time to buy anything as things are cheapest during the holiday.
