I would like to make it dynamic to let people choose but I'm not entirely sure it's within my power to make such an option.

I moved it to the bottom on my local copy and it seems to work pretty good there.
Anyone have any objection to moving it?

I am tired and I am not sure what this is supposed to look like as I just d/l it within the hour. This menu at the bottom sucks. There just isn't anyone on GFY that irritates me enough to put up with giving up 1" of my screen. Is there a way to make that disappear and I can bring it up if/when I decide to add someone?

Just for the record, this will be really useful on mainstream boards. Will probably keep me from getting banned so often too. But there has to be a way to minimize that menu.

Thanks.

Now I know what they are talking about and yeah, bottom would be much better.

That's the idea, it should save you time and frustration. After a while you just forget that the annoying users even exist.

Ok, I think I'll be moving the menu to the bottom on the next update. Perhaps I'll see about rolling that out today. I hope it doesn't annoy people who've used it for a few months now. They may be used to where it is.

We probably are the same that way.I always laugh when I meet someone new at a show and they say something like, "you really let me have it that time" like I have a clue what they are talking about. If they give me some details I will likely remember, but some people bring up threads from 5 years ago.

yep, same here. I just post, I dont try to remember every damn person and if they say something goofy and I call em on it, doesnt mean we are "enemies" ya know.

I drop in post, close window do work, come back, post, close window. I dont give two shits about storing every damn poster name and if we crossed paths in my head, its not worth it.

i post and move on

Recently a certain poster has stepped up their personal attacks on me, going on and on about me being sexually abused as a child, all kinds of pedo child sex stuff and I can really live without having to even scroll through that shit.

Pedo shit is taking it further than it needs to, and Ive never used such language in a quarrel on gfy, but some do.

When I make a post about electic cars and the retort from a hater to me becomes: your uncle used to suck your dick when you were a child etc...

that name can be added to the list.

Pedo accusations I can live without, and PleasurePays should really think about the crap he spews just to piss with me on gfy, its ridiculous to take things into pedo realm just because you dont like me? Get a life mother fucker.

gone. ill never see his dumb ass posts again

Yup, he tried with me all the time too. He has nothing better to do than hate on people and spout out about what he "knows"... which is clearly very little. The board is a much nicer place without people like that. :winkwink:

The way I see it is simple, if I spend even 5 mins on it, its too much, and I'd rather have my 5 mins back. ;)

thanks again for the great addon, and I hope I have helped spread the word and get you more users, judging by the thread, I have.

Machete_ 12-03-2008 07:35 AM

Imagine if the boards could agree on a "Open Forum Standard" so developers could build both browser plugins and board-addons, that worked on every board that followed that standard

This is great.xxx

Looks great, thank you very much :thumbsup

Also, don't forget people that you can ignore threads as well as people. So if someone you don't want to ignore makes a thread that you do want to ignore (ie, contest threads), you can ignore that thread itself so that you don't see it on the forum anymore. :winkwink:

It would be better for me, but I certainly wouldn't expect you to switch things up for one person. If you do switch it, I'll most likely start using it again.

Consider it done!
"one person" is all that I need to hear from to make things better :winkwink:

Version 1.23 moves the "FfVb Management" context menu to the bottom rather than the top :thumbsup

I have so much stuff in my right click menu that I'd have to scroll down to see it. Is there a place to edit what's in there?

I wish... I'm still trying to figure it out but from what I can tell, it's something that is set upon Firefox's loading. Which means that it can't really be changed after it's been loaded.

I'm still exploring my options on that one though.
