It's not so much that he doesn't want women fighting in the UFC, it's that he doesn't feel there are enough quality female fighters to justify an entire division. He's not just going to put Carano in a one off fight for ratings when he doesn't need to and there is no belt for her to eventually win.

I have heard talk that he might put her in the UFC owned WEC, which does need the ratings help...

Dana White isn't stupid, and if he felt he could make a successful women's division he would jump on it. Right now he believes that it would be the same 4-5 women that make up the elite of women's MMA, and they would be fighting each other repeatedly.
