You are right of course. It just seems that....if a board is going to promote itself as a place "where the industry meets" ... that it would actually have the industries best interest at heart. And based on what I've seen lately (and over the years) that's not the case. The mods here continually delete threads and banned members who bring questionable business practices to light. And it's no coincidence that threads that get deleted are threads that target programs in the "Bro Club" or friends of the mods. Is this a fair practice? Nope! But it does keep the money rolling in. I guess if you have to rely on a message board to pay the bills and you don't have a problem looking the other way when programs do bad things to people....then it's totally fine. I'd like to think that the folks who run this board are better people than that but well - their actions say it all.
Listen, I'm sure it's my fault. I just expect everyone to be honest and fair. And when I see something like this going on it reminds me that everyone isn't. I'm sure the mods are really great people and are just doing whatever they have to do to save their job....even if that means deleting threads and banning members who are trying to bring to our attention that there are some bad people and bad companies taking advantage of affiliates and in some instances - the general public.
This is not where the industry meets, this is where the bro's meet!
