Europeans Billing Europe!

I was up to about 8 liters a day - sat at the computer and drank Diet Coke instead of eating to keep going...couldn't pass a convenience store without buying a liter bottle...quit cold turkey in February - quitting crack couldn't be worse - one of the best things I did this year - now just a little coffee and lots of water...

Our dogs have always eaten raw-natural - no processed carb dogfood - they act like they're ten weeks old...

I hit trader joes from time to time, but I am really shitty about being good about what I eat. I go in globs. I'll be into it for 6 months then fall off for 2 years.

I've been shopping at a "hippy" organic grocery store, it's private and not a chain
It's sorta crazy to go in there, cause it's all naturalist chicks and long haired hippy dudes, but the food is incredible.

Once it's summer, I'll hopefully be growing my own food.. with natural soils, and water etc..

Placebo effect is not the case, you can't go from the symptoms I had to them clearing up simply via the mind.. I've bled out the ass, and many other symptoms of colon cancer ( I'm avoiding details, to avoid making people vomit but the problems were very real ) and I was cronically fatigued every day.. You can't convince me just because I'm eating better ( generally the same meals etc, just without the chems ) that these symptoms majically disappeared cause I "think" I feel better..

And my children are exempt from all their vaccines.. my wife actually brought up this subject and I fought her tooth and nail on it at first, till she showed me enough information about them that it was undeniable that they are poison.

I know some people are gonna think I'm an idiot.. and that I come here spouting all this anti-medicine stuff wearing a nicely fashioned tin foil hat, but all I want is for people to look at both sides of these stories, and decide for them selves..

Yeah, as we see people are dropping dead like flies from brain tumors. :1orglaugh

My cousin stopped eating preservatives... went natural. She lost 20lbs and seems to have perked up around 50%. Her outlook has changed and she seems much happier. I have a hard time thinking the food DIDN'T impact her significantly. Nothing else changed in her lifestyle. She just vowed to eat free range chicken and clean veggies. No canned/tinned food and no prepackaged garbage.

I think it has benefits.

Not exactly, watch the video, and check the increase in neurological disorders and instances of brain tumors since aspartame was put on the market.. before you spout out ignorance.

not just brain tumors, but tons of young people are getting cancer nowadays, women with breast cancer, young people with various types of cancers dying before they are 50, something is going on in spite of all the advances we have made in medical care

:2 cents:

I had 2 cans of diet coke today. Hope I make it past x-mas :upsidedow

It's got huge benefits..

Trust me, if you knew me offline, you'd be surprised as hell to hear me even posting something like this thread, for years I've drugged , drank and smoked and eaten myself nearly to the grave...

in the last year I've given up drugs, and drink only occasionally, I smoke still (for now), but only outdoors and have cut down to about 1/5th of what I was smoking...

Of all these changes, I noticed the biggest improvement once I made the food and water changes, it was very quick and very noticeable..

If you can't pronounce the shit on the ingredients list, or it even sounds unnatural, put it back on the shelf..

as far as farmed food goes, at least it doesn't contain aspartame, but it may contain fluoride, which is a deadly poison aswell... second only to mercury.

I wonder if I were to get an apple tested if there'd be trace amounts fluoride in it due to watering..
I'm thinking alot of farms are naturally watered via rain, or are far enough outside the city to be on well water which isn't usually treated with chemicals..

I thought fluoride is good for your teeth?? and that's why they put it in the water supply??

Google it..

Watch the fluoride deception, or hit http://www.fluoridealert.org/ for information.

I'll tell you how I got into researching fluoride, I grew up in the country on well water .. and had PERFECT teeth till I was 20, then I moved to the city and within 2 years I had litte brown pits forming in my teeth, ( not like a cavity, different ) and within 5 years I had my entire mouth rot out... The only difference was fluoridated water, and I've been proven to have fluorosis ( fluoride poisoning )

Fluoride is scraped from the smoke stacks at fertilizer factories.. then added to our water.

no shit :2 cents:

Yep, can see how that's funny, and even hypocritical, however .. I've been smoking for 20 years and am highly addicted

I'm planning on quitting .. just slowly, as unlike water and diet soda it's addictive and alot harder to change.

I guess you missed the part where I was smoking 5 times more a year ago..
I was a 2 pack a day smoker, now I'm down to about a half pack or less a day ( even less if it's freezing out )

1 month ago, I was fucking certain I had stomach, or colon cancer...
I've recently switched my diet to all natural food, all meats are hormone and antibiotic free, my Juices read like so,

Ingredients: Apples.
Ingredients: Oranges.

Nothing else, no additives at all.. pure pressed juices.
That's it..

The list of changes I've made has been HUGE, right to crackers, bread everything is 100% natural or I won't eat it.

I've stopped drinking tap water in switch for water that has been purified by reverse osmosis, and no longer use fluoridated tooth paste.

My Sugars are RAW sugars, my fruits are grown without pesticides, they may look a little gnarly but the flavor is 10x better...
I've NEVER felt so fucking good in my life..

I used to sit on the toilet and CRY like a bitch and deliver a turd the size of a marble, now I go upstairs and take a HUGE shit, without even breakin a sweat.

I RUN up the stairs when I used to almost crawl..
I feel stronger each day, it's really crazy.

Every day was a fight to wake up on time, and I'd often sleep my whole day away, purely exhausted..
Now I'm awake in seconds.

I had every single symptom of colon and stomach cancer and now I have ZERO.

People would think this would be more expensive, and at the cash register it seems that way, but the fact is, I used to need a full 16 ounce glass of juice to satisfy me, and now I drink half an 8 ounce glass and I'm good to go.. I eat one pork tenderloin instead of 2 and It's 100% better tasting and satisfying... so it's actually about the same cost.

I went through a similar experience in the last year. I was barely 30 and I got really sick and doctors couldnt figure out what was wrong with me, they threw all these ideas at me that I got tested for from auto-immune diseases to cancer to adrenal burnout. They said I had chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia, there were days when I couldnt leave my couch. I started losing weight drastically, in an unhealthy way.. 15 lbs in 3 weeks. I was getting constant chest pain and there were days where my body was in so much pain I just stayed in bed. The fatigue was so bad that I couldnt make it up the 12 steps at my house sometimes without stopping.

Time passed and I decided to change my lifestyle and habits. I knew I wasnt the healthiest person but I didn't think I was that bad but I realized I had to take matters into my own hands if I wanted to get better. I changed my diet.. went organic as best as I could and refrained from junk. I never drank much soda to begin with but switched entirely to water, herbal teas, and natural juices. Went to nutritionist, tested my blood, worked with my deficiencies with proper supplements. I stopped taking any pharmaceuticals minus advil sometimes.

Its been a little over a year later, my weight dropped almost 40 lbs (from 178lbs - 140 lbs) and I am in the best health I have ever been. Keep in mind, I used to weigh 135lbs 7 years ago before I moved to the US, I didnt realize how much excess strain that weight had put on my body, joints, and spine. I havent gotten sick since then except for a minor cold which I was able to curb pretty quickly with vit C and sinus rinses. My immunity is better... my energy levels are better.

I definitely believe the food made a difference as well as the drinks that I blend with spinach and stuff. Yoga has also been pivotal for me. I cook most of my own food and not only does the food TASTE better but I definitely need less of it. I have had many people tell me I look a few years younger because of my healthy glow.

I did all this after doing my own research because I used to laugh at health nuts. Now I send friends recipes and tips. Speaking of recipes... I will leave you with the green drink recipe that I use which will boost immunity and energy and give you a good dose of greens high in alkaline:

1 cup spinach/kale
Half lemon (Leave skin on if you have a good blender)
Half apple, cored
1 tbsp parsley
1 inch ginger, peeled
1 stalk celery
A few ice cubes
¼ - ½ cup water or more, depending on how you like consistency.
Optional Ingredients:
1 tsp honey to help sweeten
Some cucumber
1 tbsp liquid cod liver oil, high in Vitamin D and Magnesium (the drink will help mask the taste)
1 tbsp omega-3 oil (flaxseed, fish, etc) for essential fatty acids

It helps to have a good blender and don?t be alarmed that the drink is a bit thick, you will need to drink the fibers as well for a lot of the benefits. It also may help to cut some of the ingredients into smaller pieces to help with the blending.

Wishing you all happy and healthy lives. :)

Artificial sweetners are evil... Those of you who know me know I am in a wheelchair with a form of Muscular Dystrophy from birth. A few years ago my pool therapist convinced me to try and eat better, switch to diet soda, etc etc..

Shortly after, I had developed a lymph infection in my lower legs, they were constantly swollen, sore, need pressure wraps, etc etc, not a pretty picture. So a while ago I started drinking water instead of soda and started drinking organic milk instead of regular milk. Odly enough, swelling in my legs has gone, sensation in the skin is returning, less head aches and light headedness and the organic milk does not congest me, IE no more sleep apnea.

More about the poison known as aspertame...

http://www.mercola.com/article/aspartame/fraud.htm

What really sucks nowadays, is that poisons like aspertame are sneaking into all sorts of foods, under the cover of "natural and artificial flavors".

It is VERY difficult to stay away from Aspertame, MSG, and numerous other poisons in our foods and drinks.

When a kid goes nuts and shoots up a school, do they check them for Aspertame, MSG, and other brain-fucking chemicals?

Why are these chemicals allowed in our foods? Is it the profit JUST from the Aspertame, or is it the additional profit from anti-depressants, medical expenses, population control?

Will the Obama administration address any of this?

At a minimum, we should at least KNOW if Aspertame or MSG are in a product, without hiding the fact - at a minimum, but really these things should just be illegal - period!

Well I don't know what to say.

I'm 35. This morning I ran 12 km in just over 50 minutes. I hit the gym hard for an hour, and I did 2 punishing hours of martial arts this evening.

All of this pumped up on food fall of all these evils. Steroids and horomones and aspartame, oh my! I guess my body hasn't read the memo.

you roll the dice, you take your chances, there are no guarantees, but you can shift the odds around by the actions you take in life

you might eat like shit all your life, and smoke cigarettes, and live to be 105, but the odds of doing so are likely much less if you push your luck that way.... but some people get lucky, just like some people can do nothing all their lives, save nothing, don't work, but hit the lottery, that is the way it goes sometimes :2 cents:

Oh, don't get me wrong. I don't eat sugars, or white flour, grease, MSG, etc etc. I do have a can of diet cola every once and awhile though. I eat chicken, meats, dairy and vegetables never going free range or organic.

Fuck, give me some of the steroids and growth hormone in a syringe and I'll bang that shit right in to my quad now. :)

The point of the video, and it's made very clear in the video .. is that some people are just naturally weaker to fight off toxins like aspartame..

Hell, we all know some dude that smokes 4 packs a day and eats like a pig and is in great shape, but that's not the norm.

This video is saying that cigarettes will pale in comparison to the damage Aspartame is doing, I mean it's only been on the market since the mid eighties.. and the long term effects of it are starting to show up.. some people can drink it for days and have symptoms and others can drink the shit for years without symptoms, or only have "mild" symptoms.. or have symptoms that are diagnosed as other problems due to the misinformation that's out there surrounding this chemical..

All the problems I mentioned above with my bowels, and stomach I always thought was caused by coffee and cigarettes.. well, I'm drinking the same amount of coffee today as ever, and all the problems are gone after subtracting all these chemicals from my diet.

My brother asked me a valid question after talking about this " Well how come you have a few drinks of alcohol then? it's a poison isn't it? "

Alchohol is also a poison,

BUT I consume alcohol on my own will knowing when I'm taking it.. it's not snuck into my foods and drinks without me suspecting anything

it's a poison sure, a poison the body can break down for the most part, whereas aspartame is a cumulative poison like mercury, it never leaves your body..your body cannot break it down...
and someday you could discover a big ass brain tumor in your head ...

Doctors will likely blame it on smoking though :2 cents:

but the hormones you get from food though are much more likely to be estrogens, not anabolics or growth hormones, which mostly don't survive the digestive system that well :2 cents:

the peptide hormones such as growth hormone do not survive in the digestive system, so even if the cows were loaded with it your stomach would destroy it absolutely and completely

estrogens on the other hand often are absorbed very well by your digestive system, and these are the hormones that one should be concerned about in the diet :2 cents:

Jamba Juice is on the right track, but many of their drink choices are extreme on the sugar carbs

some of the whey protein drinks they have are a better more balanced choice though

I've recently pulled out my Brita water filter and started drinking more water. Still drink coke (the real/sugar laden version), but I've cut back on it significantly.

I read recently that the newer Brita filters don't actually filter out fluoride which is of concern.

Been thinking about going to a farmer's market rather than buying produce from the local supermarket, it's fresher and cheaper.

Little steps...

funny thing is, while those foods will definitely make you feel better, in the end it is all up to genetics

I know triathlon runners that died of a heart attack while jogging, in perfect physical shape

I also know my 90 year old grandmother that has a recipe book she makes meals from every night...EVERY SINGLE recipe calls for at least 1 stick of whole salted butter...she has eaten processed foods, red meat, candy and soda since she was a child, and to this day, at 90 years old, she climbs on her roof and empties her own gutters

every single person needs to figure out their OWN spcific diet for their OWN bodies...it took me years to figure out what what my body thrives on and I stay in perfect health eating is shit you all would die in a year from eating....triple bacon cheeseburgers, pizza every other day, 12 pack of coca cola every day, etc...not to mention 2 packs of marlboro reds every day (which I smoked since I was 11)...my last physical was 2 months ago...all blood levels were perfect for my age and the doc said "you have the lungs of a 16 year old, there is no damage that is apparent"...not to mention I NEVER get sick, EVER.....last time I had even as much as a cough was 5-8 years ago

a good rule of thumb when picking things to eat, if yoou eat it, and you don't like it or it made you feel like shit afterwards, that is your bodies was of saying that particular food isn't right for your body

wanna REALLY go crazy and break this down even further? Figure out your blood type and then grab this book http://www.google.com/products/catal...658#ps-sellers and use it as a manual for eating for a month. My wife used it and within a month she was her perfect weight and felt like she was walking on clouds

Also, here's a fun fact.. The SECOND you use hot water through a brita, it's useless, from that moment on it filters nothing :(

Check out RO water, I pay literally the price of 2 coffees worth for a weeks supply.. and I have a large family.

I was wondering what hot water would do to an on-tap filter. I was going to buy one the other day, but decided against it when I saw the mention of it passing fluoride through. Might look at getting an under-sink system installed instead.
