Years ago I had the chance to work with someone who was from Turkey originally. He told me that back home in Turkey everyone thought that Americans were fat, lazy, had big houses, drove big cars, and rarely worked. He was surprised to come to the US and learn that it wasn't much different than it was in Turkey - Not everyone had big houses and not everyone had big cars and every one here works. Surprise.
