Here's a funny one: I tell people I'm in .cr, which is Costa Rica, but most people think of Croatia right away -- but their name for the country is Hrvatska so they get .hr instead.

Its a language cause its there already over 2000 yrs, theres dictionaries and the languages evolved over the yrs, all criteria to have it set to a language.

I am afraid that Flemish = Vlaams, it is a language, not sure.
about Fries yes it is an official language of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
