I fully agree with all posts of Warchild.

A few months ago I would have said tube traffic is impossible to converts because of all the large movies.

I was completely wrong.

It seems many of the GFY people here have absolutely no clue what tube visitors are actually doing.
You would probably think most of them will try to watch as many free content as possible.

They won't. I found out the majority of tube visitors will do something like this:

They like a few niches and will go search straight for those niches, once they found some movies
in their niche they like, they bookmark those few vids. And watch them over and over again and again

But after jerking off a few times on the same FLV movies, they often want more of the same girls in high
quality and they will join the paysite.
You won't believe hoe many visitors will type in the URL they find in the clips manually in the addressbar
of their browser. (I thought barely anyone will do this, but I was completely surprised about the traffic volume
from those 'type-ins')

Now, I'm not gonna say tube traffic is the best to get, but at least it's better then regular TGP traffic.
MUCH better.

all it's branding and recognition and database then no clone script is going to do
anything.

People join the site because they think other people are there already.
I don't see that just throwing up a script is going to do that because wouldn't
plenty of people have done it already a take AFF market share away?

I just saw this thread. I had no Idea. Where did you get this info All I see mentioned is an IPO not a bankruptcy.

But if AFF is going under it's becuase their site sucks! They advertise one thing and then the site is BS. You don't make money by ripping of your customers. You make money by selling a quality product.

AFF is the worst dating/hookup site ever the women on their are either fake profiles or fat old ugly women that you would not want to even talk to.

I have pulled many women from myspace, hot or not but I never even got a reply on AFF when I tried it. That told me right there something was wrong!

Where is the link to the full story

Your experience with AFF is something that can be applied to many sites, not just dating, on the adult Internet. Many sites have looked at getting traffic, converting it before what the sites is selling and what the members need.

But if you're spending a lot of money on getting people to the door, from male dominated areas on the Adult Net, do they have the money, time and profile to get women to sign up?

You idiots are dreaming if you think losing AFF will make any difference at all.

Very true. Im sure it will pinch them some, but far from tits up.
