Yeah Barney is good too, i like his poker face. Many guys make negative faces/expressions when they miss or something, I prefer the straight face approach too. barney shows no emotion.

Yeah good stuff, pro dart players are insane 3 in triple 20 on command.. .

one of the biggest tips that i tell new players is follow through. practice following through with your shot and releasing at the same point each time. consistency is very important as well, try to throw the same way every dart, no matter if its the 1st or 3rd dart. and get comfortable =)

i used to be pretty good and played a lot, now im not so good. it seems like one of those things you lose skill if you dont keep playing. i used to be able to always close out a game of cricket in less than 8-10 rounds. now its more like 20-30.

I have played in leagues with my husband (often not on the same team however). We played in the South Palm Beach dart league, I made the state team but declined due to time and travel which conflicted with work. We haven't played grab bags or league in a couple of years but we do play at home and with friends. We usually play cricket points or 501 with 2 people, or just straight up cricket with more than 2 players.

Phil Taylor is a machine has dominated the sport for so long. Its ashame there never used to be much money in it and hes only now starting to make the big bucks. He would of been worth a fortune otherwise.

He's still making plenty just now, and i'm sure has made even more over the years.

It is taking off though, and getting bigger every year, with bigger prize money on offer.

In the last year hes made £600k prize money, his entire career prize money is only £2,500,000. And he has been winning everything for 15 years. Its only really now that the sport split that theres big money. Hes still got a good few years left though.
