This thread kept the interest because of you being involved... But bottom line is the person starting the thread feels she got ripped off. It's a small amount of money and surprised that it wouldn't be taken care of outside a forum.

I got ripped off for 1700 last month and posted only because I knew the asshole wasn't ever going to pay... but that is lower profile but still... my money is lost.

Its for a lot more then that...Small claims is up to 5k I believe...

Yea, but most folks find that paying lawyers to collect on less than $20K just isn't worth the hassle. Gonna be hard to find a lawyer to take that type of case on contingency (maybe a back alley lawyer who does small time collections though...)

Linsday only gave one piece of the whole puzzle...This story is very complicated.
