Sunny hired a PR firm to help her with her site. They did!

She neglected her invoices until her balanced reached over $9K and then decided she wasn't going to pay. That's enough detail for me to see that there's a problem here. If Sunny wasn't happy with the services she was getting, she could have pulled the plug before her balanced reached $9K+.

When people say LOL to something like this, they are usually in the wrong. I am sorry but being cute and having implants doesn't give you pass from paying shit. They did work for her that was more than just seo work. Sunny has not paid them, and they want their money. If she did not like the work, she should have stopped using their services. Not use them to the tune of $9,000 and than say that she not paying. Yes that does look bad on her behalf, but that is her own damn fault. She had a chance to say her side, she chose not to. If it was for legal reasons she could have stated that. Simple as that.

Here is an interesting part to the story ...... Sunny Leone's official website ranks within the top 3 for Google with the keyword "sunny leone". The top 5 spots are always rotating but at any given time she is 1 of those 5 spots. I've checked this many, many times over the past few months.

Research shows her website is a PR3 with more than 25,000 back links and some are saying that quite a few of those backlinks may be on the shady and/or bought side. I don't know if this is true but what we do know is she paid an SEO company more than $9,000, well that's what she owes them at least ... she didn't actually seem to "pay".

I run a Sunny Leone website that is a PR2 with less than 500 backlinks, none of which are bought and I paid nothing to an SEO company and my website also is one in the top 5. For me that translates into less than 1,000 unique visitors per day ... however very high quality visitors. My bounce rate on that site is less than 30% and my sales ratios for my sponsors are less than 1:150.

So is getting in the top worth what she is being charged? Well considering I paid nothing for it and I did it without buying links and risk getting banned, then apparently it's not worth $9,000. I am sure there are other services she performed for Sunny Leone that will explain the large bill which are probably outlined in this thread but honestly my eyes got to tired from trying to read all 6 pages. But for SEO services only no way no how should Sunny Leone or her people pay that.

In fact if these statements about back links are even remotely true then that's some major bullshit. I mean how mad would you be if you paid a company to help you with marketing and in the end they get you banned from Google for life? I don't care if buying links is common. It's illegal. Google will ban you for it and that's not putting the clients best interests at heart. You can SEO your way to the top without buying links and my Sunny Leone site is proof of that.

In fact, I also just helped a friend with a new site (less than 3 months old) go from nothing to PR4 site with more than 20,000 backlinks in 90 days without buying or even trading so much as one link.

So yes SEO can be done legally and with someone as famous as Sunny Leone who mind you was also just recently in a reality series with little Casey Parker, it could be doe so much easier. There is just no excuse to buy links for her site. I don't know if that is true and I hope it's not but if it is, and if I were Sunny Leone you would be meeting with my lawyers and my bill for those legal fees.

First of all, it doesn't matter that you think she got overcharged. She hired the company based on their current rates, went months without paying her bills and now she has a $9K bill that she wants to walk away from. She could have pulled the plug at any time if she thought she was being overcharged....did she? No!

From the sounds of it sunny paid for "natural" seo not blackhat seo . If she recieved blackhat seo work then sh didnt get what she paid for and thus the contract is invalid. Just from reading the thread it sounds like this very well could be the case. From the wording lindsay used it sounds like thats what she was promising, looking at the backlinks that may not have been what sunny got.

Getting a domain banned that is the key to your business would be alot more costly than 9k

well if the damage that was done thru blackhat seo and was costlier than 9k then why would you expect her to pay. If someone was hired to cut my grass for $50 and did $100 worth of damage to my window, they aint getting paid until my window is fixed. It doesnt matter what the bill is for, if the other person caused more damage than the amount you owe them the bill is pointless.

How exactly do you appraise the damage? How do you put a dollar figure on it? Just curious....

did you actually take the time to actually read the whole thread? Now people are creating a whole black hat seo story where there wasnt one. Did you read posts of the people saying the great work they do?

You need to read the whole thread. They did a lot more than just seo work. Lindsay did post as to some of the other work that was done. Once again Sunny could have stopped working with them at any point. You do not continue to use services and not pay. That is just wrong. Like I said I do not care how hot someone is, you pay your bills. Porn is full of a lot of hot men and women. I guess they should all expect thousands of dollars of free work because they are hot. (eye roll)
