I love hot sauce and make my own most of the time.
One thing I do not though which I see often with many hot sauce people. They go after brands bragging about them or whatever and well they are only just hot. They have no real flavor to go with it, just extreme heat. One thing if your just after the endorphin rush but another if you want to enjoy food. |
Tapatio is the best and if you want to try something good have a ticate beer with it! Open a can of tecate, squeeze some lemon in the can then hit it with some salt, the beer will start to fizzle, at that moment pour the tapatio all over the rim and inside the can. You cant miss with this combo, sounds crazy but damn good!

What is good about it. I do like green hot sauces more than red ones very often. |

Frank's red hot, and Lousiana hot sauce, both are too mild and wimpy for me. Both are way overrated. (in my opinion)
For those that really love the heat, any good quality habanero sauce is the way to go. And for everyday usage in scrambled eggs, on chicken, in soups etc, tobasco is the best standby anyone can rely on. http://www.jokesbee.com/graphx/holyshit.jpg |
summer is here and I had to check back and see what im going to buy this season.

Tapatio and Cholula are my favorites because I love Mexican food but I just recently went to Holland and was introduced to this one:
