Yep. That is what they are mainly known for.

There are a lot of Jap companies that supply the auto industry, and a fort as well. Those are the main industries.

Hi Barefootsies,

I read your post. You are asking for someone to invest in new (to you) niches, and fly out to your neck of the woods a couple of times a month, to show you how its done. I can't say for sure, but I don't think you won't get too many takers here as everyone is already pretty busy doing their own thing.

I have a better idea for you if I may.

Why not place an ad on some fan based boards looking for someone who REALLY loves the niches you are looking for, and hire them as a technical advisor instead? You can qualify them by asking them to prove they truly know and love their stuff by showing you the membership bills they have from all of the sites they have joined (and why).

Not only will you get the expert of a die-hard fan of lesbian/feet niche stuff, but you will also learn exactly WHY he loves particular pictures or websites. You will learn exactly what to shoot to gain this kind of customer.

Since you already have lots of online business experience you probably don't need an expert to tell you what to do in that area. A "Technical advisor" will cost you alot less money as you can put him on payroll instead of give up any percentage of your business to him. You save money, save legal headaches, learn alot, and give someone a "dream job" for a while...

:)

Just my 2 cents!

Good luck with your quest.

One of these days we shoot meet up or something when you are wearing sandals, have your toes painted, and tell me more about yourself, and skill sets while playing footsies.

:winkwink:

If only those were my tits, and if only I had tits? I'll hit you back up in the summer when I have more free time and less school. I'll still paint my toes if I have to.

Best of luck on that.

Thanks for the well wishes. Not exactly what I am looking for.

On a side note, it's funny how some people take different things from this post and offer. The content guys see it as I am looking for a Jim Gunn type of person to come in and 'show me the ropes' which is not the case. I can shoot the stuff myself just fine. I am looking for a strategic business partner. Not bmbradley to come fly in to help me twice a month learning how to shoot. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

The traffic guys see it as I want someone to come in and build me a traffic empire. For some reason think either or have an assumption I have no traffic of any kind (showing me they either have no clue who I am, read the post, or know what they are talking about) and want me to have them do all the work generating traffic, and I just shoot some models. Or I want them do pay, do all the work, and I just lend them my 'name brand'. This is hilarious to me.

Some of the response, and who I get what from, is entertaining. No offense meant to the O.P. by any means.

Lastly, bringing in a 'fan' is some of the worst advise I could think of. They are not going to be business minded, and the chance to meet, and try and hook up with their favorite foot girls is just a nightmare waiting to happen. Not to mention the awe factor alone.

Thanks again though. It was a good read, and well thought out :2 cents:.

You are looking for a person with lots of money to invest, with really specific skills, who wants to travel to you in the middle of nowhere on a regular basis and wants to invest it in exactly what you want to do. Such an ideal person is unlikely to exist I would think! But you can probably get help in a few of these areas cheaply. It won't be moneybags or another partner, but maybe you can grow using that help? Production help is probably pretty cheap up there in MI if you find some college kids with technical skills to help production. And maybe a local webmaster with experience in affiliate marketing or blog building could help you with your program and blogs & stuff for a part time salary. If you ever want some general production and lighting tips I'd be happy to give you some pointers on lighting and filming high definition foot scenes now that I have experience with it. :winkwink:

2MuchMark 01-21-2009 11:42 PM

Hi again -

Of course your "fan" could turn out to be a psycho... so hopefully you would choose him carefully.

I have had the chance to meet some of our best customers in person and learned a TON of things about how they found our sites, why they chose to spend money, and why they stuck around.

Anyway, I'm sure you'll succeed no matter what path you take barefootsies, but I think my idea is still valid, and easier too.

Cheers!

It is a lot harder than you think to find good, consistent, solid help. There simply is not a resource pool up here, at least this side of the state, like there would be over by Pete KT in Detroit metro.

True true.

Ann Arbor is a nice area. Plus there is more to do since you are closer to metro. Unfortunately it's a good hour and fifteen to hour and a half away.

:Oh crap

Thanks mate. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, and the well wishes.

The Europeans, so far, seem to be the most interested, and see the vision clearly of what I am looking for. Logistics is really the biggest issue for me to think over there. They have the cash, and interest.

So maybe I will think on that some more..

:Oh crap

I used to spend a lot of time all over Michigan. The woman I worked for for 10 years owned the adult bookstores attached to the Deja Vu's in Flint and Saginaw, and she owned an adult bookstore in Bay City and Lincoln Park, plus the Deja Vu and the attached bookstore in Port Huron. The warehouse and corporate office was in Durand, which is a little shit town that was known for all it's railroad tracks. Those were good times, but I don't miss living out of Michigan's finest Holiday Inn's...

BSleazy 01-22-2009 12:02 AM

I would love to do this, especially going back to Michigan every month. To bad I don't have any money to invest :)

You just escaped here hoss. Why in such a hurry to come back?

When I get the chance to head to Cali, I will not miss Michigan winters at ALL!

BSleazy 01-22-2009 12:11 AM

Ya I don't miss the winter but I miss all my friends and family. I sure will miss summer time on lake Charlevoix if I don't make it back. I love it up there.

Ah ok. I feel you chief.

I do not have a lot of family left. I will miss friends, but since most are married now, I talk to them more on the phone that see them much anymore. I see them golfing in the summer a decent amount, but the wifie's keep em on lock down.

How you loving Florida?

It's alright. Nothing special or anything to get all excited about. The weather is better though. The only reason I moved here was to live near my daughter and help raise here. She's 5 and the only time I got to see her the last 2-3 years was a week right after Christmas and 6 weeks during the summer.

I know it's hard to find, but one key person can make a world of difference. My full time employee has been helping me in all kinds of ways from production, to graphic design to Wordpress blogs to video editing and encoding and organizing my content and a whole bunch of other things.

I agree wholeheartedly.

Unfortunately, I have been looking for some time before looking at this conclusion or offer. I mean, common sense would dictate that I do it myself, and hire some key position players, then keep all the money for myself.

However, at some point you grow to where you need skilled people, or a strategic partner, to make that next step. Someone with like minded vision, and looking for a mutually beneficial arrangement.

That is where I am.

You can only do so much yourself. If I only did content, and nothing else. I may be able to swing it. However, I am moving in some other directions and even with two part timers, I can't keep up on all the stuff we are working on.

It's time to bring in someone more than just a position, part timer, pay check player so I can take things to the next level. There is simply too much money to make, and I am not superman Jim Gunn..

I am not very good at this and it's time I admit it...

All ya goto do is pay me and we can keep our books separate.

No matter how many times you edit your post, it will not make you look any better.

Maybe you should go back to L.A. and spread your cheeks for some cash while waiting on music gigs.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-22-2009 01:04 AM

No no, I am serious. I really need an investor.
I do not know much in the art of making money, I know all kinds of shit in the biz, I just fail at making big cash. SO I need an investor or serious partner that would like to make money. I know I can do it I just need an edge with a good partner thats dedicated.

And yeah...
I would need to be paid a little at the same time till the business took off but it would require a serious partner that won't fuck me and I can trust.

Which probably is not a good idea to solicit around here cuz I am pretty sure I can not trust no one on this board.

Its long shot but hey...

Wait a minute here. So you are being serious instead of your usual sarcasm?

While I admit I do not follow all your b.s., I thought you had shot content in the past, and you have your own big balla clients you do coding, or design work for or something?

My point is,... I thought you had some established track record of making money. Whether spreading your cheeks, doing table less CSS or shooting content??

It depends...

I have done some nice deals from the boards for various things. Unfortunately, it takes time. Whether through threads, or networking. Most of the 'BROS' I talk to at shows admit they rarely check the boards.

Those I do business with, most times, are the 2% of the 5% of this business who actually have more than $500 to their name, and can do big money deals. Or are not maxed out on their capital.

Furthermore, a lot of times, they are people who rarely, or never, post on the boards. They just lurk. But they can tell me everything about old posts, etc.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-22-2009 01:12 AM

"I thought you had shot content in the past, and you have your own big balla clients you do coding, or design work for or something?"

Surely you jest. The majority of this industry is broke or on the verge of broke or barely maintaining. I fall in the later category of barely maintaining. Thats the real deal with me. I am not getting ahead, and certainly not as ahead as I would like to be.

At the rate this industry is going designing tours will be free and well content, thats been free for a while. SO when you talk about big ballers who do you refer to? LOL

Cuz there are not many left.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-22-2009 01:15 AM

Err I mean not many left that play an honest game that is.

For once I agree with you.

50% of this industry can't afford anything more than $100.00. The rest that make up the 95% can't afford anything over $500.00 without maxing a credit card, or selling off assets, etc. Leaving around 5%.

Out of that 5% are programs, people new to da biz with money to invest. Those who are in solid niches, programs, have sites, or work their fucking asses off, or were lucky. With the state of the current economy, even part of that 5% is maxed out as they retool their business models.

The point I am getting at, and agreeing with you, is that most of the visible part of this industry has no money for anything. Ads, traffic, design, content, investment, websites, domains, etc.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-22-2009 01:24 AM

Since we're at it I may as well ad this disclaimer also.

I do not want a partner thats ever done the following.

Stolen Content, participated in Illegal SPam, fucks with spyware, less than honest with consumer's by selling out emails or anything relating to capitalizing on the trust of a consumer without disclosure. This includes ass holes that participate in fucked cross sales, hidden sales, offer grandious things on a tour and provide a shitty members sites with nothing but upgrades.

Secondly: Is not black listed on any TGP nor any has any history of being black listed from any tgp or current traffic portal. Especially if you attempted to defraud your submissions to sites such as Persiankitty, Al4a, Ampland, Thumbzilla, TheHun. If you have a bad record with any of those do not beother contacting me.

Lastly: If you troll message boards, chat rooms or seed myspace with fake friend add's just to spam yer porn I want nothing to do with you.

I need a straight shooter, a white knight and I am afraid...

There are hardly any left.

I think what I am getting at Footsies regardless of how much you may not like me I mean you must have your reasons I am trying to help you.

You do not want an investor in this business...

Odd's are it just gonna be someone that fucks you over and has a REAL history that goes beyond just being a freak on a message board like me.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-22-2009 01:26 AM

OH and lastly...
If you EVER fucked a webmaster on a payout or shaved them do not contact me.

:)

Once you list out all of those requirements, you have eliminated a lot of this industry friend. I have met, in person and online, some good people in this business. Off the top of my head, Robbie, Jim Gunn, Tony404, Mandy Blake, Zing, Darby from Lavish, Matt from RealCash, TatrSalad, Thurbs, Carlos the Gaurcho, and many more (no offense to anyone I may have forgot, it's 3:30 AM) who are straight shooters and I respect in this industry.

I have to admit, I will commend you are on your persistence on trying to make it in this adult online business based on your comments. I guess I always gave you the benefit of the doubt you had more pokers in the fire, and were actually doing ok. You just enjoyed doing your board antics between counting your benjamin's.

I do not know you other than your board persona. So like, or dislike, really doesn't come into play. But I concede your point. I am looking for a needle in a stack of needles.

This is a great offer for someone who's got what it takes.
Barefootsies knows his stuff, doesn't take shit from anyone and tells it like it is.
He shoots quality content and I know for a fact he can back up his words.
All it takes is the right person and then the potential for expansion is huge.
