He had a mad collection of Harleys including a 1919 model and a few fully restored 1942 WLAs. He offered me a ride of his favourite WLA before he offered his two sons a ride (which caused them to wheel stand the fuck out of my K100 BMW - not good for a shaft driven bike lol). I really enjoyed my first ride on a Harley - the 1942 WLA with the suicide shift, army green, and as original as sin! John was an ex speeedway champ, and used to make his own parts. I met some of Australia's nastiest bikers from a lot of different clubs in his backyard while consuming copious amounts of the golden nectar. :winkwink: He was a hard man but very fair! :thumbsup |

Used to live on the same block with one of their hangouts back in the 80's. For the most part they were quiet and you'd never know they were there. I was just a kid then, but unless you start shit it seems gangs like this leave pedestrians alone.

I was raised by a Hells Angel.
At 8 years old I was stealing plates in the lots. Good times. |
