--- The tubesites can still use flash ads in the player.. also using flash they can still run adds on the sites that are hotlinking (leaching) content.
the hits to the videos also count on their servers so their alexa goes up, seo can go up, and the price of ads goes up...

If linking was not a legal work around then.. well video.google.com would have issues as would the 1000's of sites hotlinking to full main stream videos...
Google its self for listing in its search results .. torrent link.. mp3's.. DVD rips... the list goes on.. let alone images in image search...
The greater loop hole is when the content is not being policed or being policed in the same manner as google and youtube do.

--- depends on if they are using the same text as the site that is being hotlinked from, with some programming you can hide the source location of the flv and google would not know its a hotlink.. IE play the flv being leached in your own flv player.. Currently there are no issues with getting sites that leach indexed quickly...

6. I own http://www.biggestporntube.com which is 100% legal with all the sponsors banners on the videos pages and see it hard to compete. If someone were to build a site like mine and cliphunter put together would the sponsors have a problem with it being that it will steel traffic from the big tubes and bring it back to them even though the big tubes content have stolen shit from sponsors?
quantum-x- 6] Mixed legal / illegal tubes sites exist. They're called 'illegal' ;)

--- If tube leach site and the tube they are leaching from has illegal videos then IMO you are still left with the same base issue the site hosting the content must remove it.. doing so also removes all hotlinks.. So getting stolen content off the illegal tube is still the key.


Something to keep in is that many tube site provide the code needed to hotlink/leach the video on the same page as the video itself..

This would only spread the illegal content further then it already is adding to the problem. I also feel it would simply bring more traffic to their sites as most of the embeds have a link to their site and chances are the person will check them out for themselves.

They actively filter, and they also monitor the leeching / refering list.

Tube sites are played out already...something new will start buzzing. YouTube is the only real good tube site for mainstream....and has like 99% of illegal shit. I even have 10 tube sites with the script in my sig.:thumbsup

Are you dumb or do you just act dumb? You need to learn what Tube is = Videos. AEBN one of the leaders in VOD lets you view a sample, in which gives you the option to watch the movie (the movie that AEBN pays the studios to use).

You need to pay to view it = not free. Just about all the sponsored galleries on the web let you see a sample. The last thing I would want is legal issues.

So instead of talking about something you don't know about, join the sponsor and read what they offer. They are a high profile company in the industry. Again Tube sites are all the rage now...you get traffic...but the only way to make money is with something like blacklabelads......and nobody going to these tube sites buy cams or dating...they just add these banners and hope...because they are already giving the videos away for free. I am sure most on GFY have there token tube site...this is why they ask so many fucking questions about the legalities.

I disagree. DMCA has been good for us. Every time we catch some scumbag stealing our hard word and calling it their own we have DMCA'd their ass and had them either shut down or our content removed.

We have never used this on hosts outside of North America but even if the hosts refuse, billing companies like CCBIll EU, Verotel and others will listen.

DMCA is the first step to going to court or the last step in trying to bring down your stolen content. When 99.9% of people who send one do so they are hoping the site, hosting company or anyone else will take notice and remove the content. I imagine the odds on them taking people to court who refuse to honor a DMCA are a lot longer than 1 in 99.

In fact a thief could say he never got the notice and you would never be able to prove it, unless you sent is via Fed Ex and could prove it. When you do that and go to court you also need screen caps and videos to prove the offending site was offending on the day you alleged. Yes you can do it under a sworn oath and the defendant can counter it with his sworn oath.

Most times a polite email with the URL and proof it's yours will get the content taken down. But that requires the willingness of the offender.

To Donny. You're wasting your time because these guys have no answer to Tubes. And because of that Tubes will change the business for them. In fact Tubes are changing the business for them. They are losing sales and putting up more free content to combat the deluge of free content on the Net. :1orglaugh

Now they will flame me and tell affiliates to come to their sites to get their free content to get more traffic that will pass over their site. Or start their own Tube site. :1orglaugh
