I didn't say that. I am saying that REAL tgp is honest traffic that has surfers whom we interact with and understand. The way an affiliate is theoretically supposed to be. Where does jdavis get his magical traffic is what I'm asking. SEO? Blogging? Tubes? And if it's blogging or tubes....show me a site. Or better yet if anyone out there has a big affiliate named jdavis please stand up...

I asked you where he gets it from since you seem to have some knowledge of this person. So far you are just playing the usual dancing around without saying anything. If the guy is a serious player, then why hasn't he shown any knowledge of how this business works? Look at what he said to barefootsies. This guy has absolutely no understanding of how niches work. You'd think that since he has traffic he would at least understand it. But since you don't seem to either, and you're defending his actions...well, that speaks to me.

No offense Robbie, but you need to broaden your horizons of where you can get traffic and how in this industry. There are TONS of different categories of porn sites out there, you haven't even scratched the surface. I can probably bet I can name about 5 or more people who can send big sales numbers to multiple sponsors daily, that you most likely never heard of.

So once again, no offense towards you, but before you make yourself look like an even bigger ass than you already have in this thread, understand totally what you're talking about.

P.S. I don't know jdavis or care about him, but just because of something you see on a message board, doesn't mean they are worthless nobody surfers with nothing to offer.

lol Brother, I think I know just about every traffic source there is. I've been around this block a time or two. And I'd love to have you tell me where legitimate traffic comes from that isn't generated in one of TWO ways...Either from a working website or SEO
There is nothing else. There can't be anything else. There is no magic traffic. And I NEVER said tgp traffic was the only traffic. fris put those words in my mouth. I only asked which one was being used for the claim that jdavis had traffic...was it generated by seo or a website? And yes, when I mentioned large tgps it was because they were obvious generators of large amounts of real traffic.

When I was ampland.com up until Nov. of 2006, I had 1.2 million unique visitors a day between amp, grampland.com, and shavedgoat.com Not circle jerk traffic, but actual bookmarked traffic. I think I've had a little experience in both large traffic and large affiliate sales. I don't hide what I do or make mysterious comments like some here do as they imply that they can send traffic and sales but can't back it up.

In the end, you either have an established site...whether it be tgp, tube, torrent, review site, blog, or other free site that has substantial numbers....or you are real good at getting a top placement for a keyword.

Or maybe I missed the memo about magical traffic that can just happen out of thin air?

One of these days we'll have to talk. I understand what you mean, but you named just TGP guys, and made it sound like the only way you could have any significant traffic is if you ran a huge TGP that everyone knows about.

There is quite a few people here who can push high numbers around that don't flaunt their business. Some don't think they need too.

I guess it's just I hate how people just randomly throw around how someone is a nobody surfer with no traffic or sales, because the person who said it to them, doesn't know them, or doesn't like them.

What I hate are all the people on here who ARE surfers and learned a few terms used in this business and post anonymously. And the only reason I was naming tgp guys was because I was a tgp guy and those were my peers.
All the traffic is at tubesites now...so now I'm just a pissant. But I still have my dozen or so loyal surfers lol
I like to discuss shit I know about. And a few years ago...tgp's were the traffic kings. These days, it doesn't take but a quick look at alexa to tell you that tubes are where everyone is at now.

Oh I understand what you mean about surfers who think because they troll around GFY and pick up some lingo, they think they are big time webmasters.

But truly how many of those people have you actual ran into verses people who don't thrust their biz into our faces who have been called nobody surfers?

I know a few here who have been proven to have good biz going on, just don't voice it, that get called sig whores who do whatever they can just to make that "100 dollar sig money!"

The ones I have said something to were pussyserver and klaze Both of whom turned out to be full of shit. Whenever I've tried to question anybody I've had the troll patrol come out of the woodwork to twist my words. I've been told that I only thought a person was in the business if they went to a freakin' convention. :error And when I clearly stated that I never thought that and in fact didn't attend one between 2002 and 2007 they still put words in my mouth that I didn't say.

Then when I said I know most of the real players in the game...my words got twisted around and I had clowns saying that I thought that since I didn't know someone that I must think they weren't "important".

All I was really trying to say on that point was that I DO promote every major program out there. And in a lot of cases I was one of their first affiliates. So yeah, I do know most of the players. And on the traffic side I know most of the big players too. Either from trading links with them back in the day or having them as an affiliate of mine now that I am in the paysite/affiliate program game too.

I guess it's easy to read what someone types and mistake it for something else. I know that I never meant to be misunderstood about what I was trying to say in those situations. Just like this time I never meant to imply that only tgp's had traffic.

But the written word doesn't always convey exactly what we mean. And if I try to really explain in detail what I mean...then I end up with one of my looooonnnnnggg wordy boring ass posts. :1orglaugh
