You gotta be kidding. I like the London night life too, but the tube and buses?!? Surely you are not a Londoner, the fucking things never run properly, closed lines and delay after delay. They look good if you are on Holiday or a day trip, but as public transport goes give me a filthy NYC metro over a London tube any day.

In no particular order, cities I like :

Shanghai, Rome, Buenos Aires, Singapore, Brisbane, LA, Tokyo, London

London for sure, don't like Paris at all, from my years in South Africa - Cape Town to visit and Johannesburg for the night life

...I like Denver for the cheap rent, relatively low unemployment, cleanliness and lack of crime.

...I like Los Angeles becuase of the sheer volume of yummy, cool women.

...Prague is pretty cool as well.

I've been to London. It's a very clean city. At least in the parts I've been to. It's definitely a great city. Rome is awesome too. Every corner you're looking at a historic monument from Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, NeoClassical and Romantic times. Also, the church/religious art is amazing.

But for BEST city, I would say VANCOUVER. Can't beat the combination of clean water, clean air, great mountains, clean city, and friendly people.

i've never been overseas yet but NYC, Vegas, phoenix, san diego are probably my favorite places to go

Yep. St. Petersburg. (Russia)
Though I heard they are finally discussing on building skyscrapers in that city.

I'd be hard pushed to choose between Sydney, Amsterdam and Capetown.

All 3 have good and bad points, but I loved them all :)

Loved Prague but so far my favorite has been Berlin. Beautiful city IMO.

TheStout 02-13-2009 02:36 PM

Buenos Aires was beautiful but I preferred Mendoza when I was in Argentina for sure.

Hahahah... Just one step down from Charlotte. Which are both pretty low on the "Bucket List" of places I would like to visit.

In no specific order;

San Francisco, Toronto, Acapulco, London, and Miami (the beach, not the shit hole bits).

Florida is a city?

marcop 02-13-2009 04:45 PM

And I'm surprised a lot of folks love London. I was born there, grew up there, and lived until my mid 20's there... and I don't like it much. NYC, LA, Tokyo, Paris, Rome are all far superior IMHO.

I always say that for me London is like Las Vegas: a day and a half and I wanna get the fuck out of there.

F-U-Jimmy 02-13-2009 07:37 PM

Prague is #1 in my book :thumbsup
