To address that statement.

For the most part 95% of my sponsors use MPA/NATS/CCBILL stats. Yes the CCBILL's will be higher because they track everything...

But when you look at those numbers and you look at how much traffic I throw at the sponsors I can say, "Hmm.. Top Bucks and Naughty America are lower because they don't convert my traffic as well as the others do."

Looking at my traffic I can say things like:

Fuck You Cash should have converted better and I should have made more for the traffic. Primarily it is for 18yearsold.com and I often thought about sending the traffic to Pure18.com or a Teen Revenue all access pass page. But then Teen Revenue is one of those sponsors that doesn't count all of the clicks.

Between Rage Cash and Fuck You Cash the difference in money is over double in RC's favor. With less traffic. Both programs use NATS.

TCG and TR both use the 2nd page hits scheme. 12% difference in amount of traffic sent to both programs in TR's favor. 360% more money in TR's favor. 450% more signups though they cost less... But with rebills at 67% they blow away most PPS programs.

Of course you know all of this...it's your traffic and your money.

BUT, my point was the average webmaster or noob reading that page might think the sponsor he should push is one that just reports clicks differently and is actually the worst.

Also, with MPA and NATS, can't you customize how you count the clicks or what stats to display to stats remote users?
Just because two proggies use NATS doesn't mean they're calculating conversions the same way.

There's nothing you can do about this of course, you don't have time to spend two days putting a page like this together when there's not much benefit for you...I'm just saying that it sucks that sponsors who purposely count 2nd page or join page to make their ratios look better end up getting rewarded for being shady like that.

What are your thoughts on why Topbucks was so low?

wheat 02-06-2009 11:04 PM

Kinda weird that you'd do 1:1000 with Met-Art and 1:20000 with FEMJOY from the same traffic base. My stats are almost exactly the opposite.

nice stats you have!

Dunno. I have always done not so good with them.

On another project that is part of a big SEO network me and a partner are doing:

1:3402 for .02 ppc on Revshare
1:2704 for .01 ppc on PPS

Conversely, that networks Traffic Cash Gold account made more money with 2/3'rds the traffic with a conversion of:

1:1082 for .02 PPC on PPS

On that network Nasty Dollars made 3.5 times the money of Top Bucks on about 114% of the traffic. That is 357% more money with only 14% more traffic...

Conversion:
1:801 for .04 ppc on PPS

Previously people mentioned AEBN numbers... Check out Movie Dollars:
1:15 for .23 ppc on PPV

It did 13% of the traffic Top Bucks did and yet made almost twice as much money...

On the network I am referring to all traffic is SEO... It all has just as much of a chance to convert as the next guy.

You have AEBN doing quite well in your own stats but MovieDollars isn't listed. Are you saying you'll be sending more to MovieDollars now? Do you go the white label route?

If all of your traffic was seo and you were going to give nasty dollars a try would you do revshare or pps?

Thanks for all the info

The numbers I posted were for my personal network.. I have deals with other people on other networks. So the Movie Dollars stats are for a network I do with someone I met here at GFY. He was about to commit knowledge suicide and I stopped him. Now we make a lot of money together.

If I had it all to do over again... Would I do Nasty Dollars revshare? Hell Yes! I have first hand knowledge that they have members that have been rebilling since the beginning. Literally tens of thousands of them.
