Nothing of relevance will ever be done about the contest threads just like nothing of relevance will ever be done about personal attacks. Both of these things bring traffic to the board that thats what GFY needs in order to keep the ad revenue coming in. I'm not hate'n...I'm just say'n. This board exists for one reason and one reason only - to bring in ad dollars. Nothing else matters.

For a sponsor to run a contest they MUST be a top banner advertiser. Most sponsors mention the 100 posts rule in the first post so that there is no abuse of that rule. If one sponsor is getting more exposure because people are breaking that rule ...... how is that fair to all the other sponsors who run a contest and make sure people don't break the 100 post limit, and disqualify them if they do! |

short answer, anyone who knows what a waste of space contest threads are just ignores them. seriously go into one of them, you won't recognize any of the nicks. none of them. if they can't contribute to the community of the board, then they can suck cock in my opinion. waaaaaaaaaaah the contest whores are cheating each other. i personally dont read the thread titles if i can avoid it. its wasted space.
