You should have been on the road with me in my band from 1978 to 1998. I have to tell you that no, the porn industry doesn't party all that hard. I do party pretty hard and I have to say that the partying I have done and still do with people outside the industry is a lot funner and more intense. Most guys that I personally know in this biz and party with at night at conventions are pretty normal in their intake of party goods. No more than my friends that are doctors, lawyers, cops, etc.

Now when I get together with other musicians and a roomfull of strippers...that can turn into a 3 day binge. lol

But most in this industry are like me. We work hard. Hell, that's just about all I do is work. And when I get the odd weekend night to escape my work and responsibilities...then it's on and I play hard.

Personally I think Donnie took things a little too much to heart from keyboard haters on here. He's a nice guy, and he's only in his 20's. He hasn't had time to really do anything good or bad. He's just young and learning. :)

I am speaking of the 4-5 private shows that are invite only and cost a LOT of money...I see "bro club" guys up for 3 days straight on all kinds of substances, hookers everywhere, etc etc etc....and then come to GFY and preach about the dangers of drugs

shit, I know one HUGE program owner that is a cocaine dealer on the side...he stocks up and goes to these private shows and becomes the cocaine guy for a few days and makes a couple grand selling $200 8balls to out of control bro club idiots

it is completely amazing the shit that you all are oblivious to that goes on in our industry

granted, musicians might do a much wider variety of drugs, therefore fucking them up harder, but the subtle constant use of drugs in the porn industry is crazy

shit, half the female talent is constantly on meth or cocaine
I know of one particular group of webmasters that meets up every friday night and parties until monday morning, doing everything they can find and then some...and these are guys ON GFY that preach about how bad drugs are
I have personally witnessed 6 adult webmasters hit rock bottom using meth, and come to GFY saying they are moving on to better things, all along just so broke their internet is about to be turned off and they are going to be evicted....all the while having everyone on GFY fooled into thinking they are doing great and just diversifying

the problem is that the line is invisible. for many, it is different places.

i liken it to running through the dark knowing that there is a drop off to a certain death with any coming footstep further into the dark.

partly not knowing where the line is makes it exciting, but also muy dangerous.

i disagree that the porn business parties the hardest. i was in the night club business for 12+ years and by far the music business is far more crazy partying wise. i won't go into some of my adventures in other countries, or how many days they went on, but hands down, the music/nightclub/restaurant industry is the most crazy. shit i had a chef that would work from 5am to 2am wasted every day for years, and sleep 3 hours a night max, sometimes in the restaurant. i held residencies in damn near every club in san diego and from wed night to sunday night it was a giant party, after the club, you gather up the go go dancers and allt he straggler girls that wanna after party and you go after the club till god knows what hour. i guess everyone has a story, but in my experience, music biz wins hands down.

And no, after owning a content company that shot tons of girls from 1998 to 2002...and fucking countless strippers for the last 25 years...I've seen plenty of girls in the adult biz that partied, but personally never any that were "addicted" to meth. I'm sure they're out there. But I haven't run into them so I don't think it's as common as you make it out to be.

I have seen and heard the rumors of TWO girls that were disclosed last year on this board. But other than that? Nope. I'm aware of all the girls who like to party when the time is right. And I don't see a damn thing wrong with that.

And I'm also aware of everybody that likes to party at a party. Hello, the conventions have PARTIES. lol If a guy can't let loose and have some fun with their friends and get a little drunk and loose at a PARTY, then when can ya?

Lighten up there dial. I've partied with cops, District Attorneys, done coke with a judge, doctors, you name it. People like to have a good time and let their hair down every once in a while.
