One of the saddest justifications for continuing the "war on pot" is that many jobs will be lost. Do we really want to continue this downward spiral? Maybe reallocate and refocus those jobs toward other more serious crimes?

There are weed gourmets. Its not all that hard to grow weed. Few weeks of reading up on it, some lights, the right soil, timers set correctly, making sure to stick to a correct watering schedule. Pretty simple really.

Been there done that, and I know what I am doing, and its not that hard. lol When I used to do it, I studied up online for like a month, then started getting what I needed. Not that expensive, not that hard to grow, and well worth the effort.

I think "easy" and "hard" is thinking in the wrong terms. If your head is into it and you genuinely love your grow you'll put a lot of work into it, and it won't seem "hard" at all. While someone who's coming in first time trying to grow for market will probably find it hard and fail. Obviously no one hits it with the triple a on their first grow. but if you are growing for personal use, study, and love your plants, you'll come out with quality smoke after a few tries. growing is one of those things that has a lot of ups and downs, many variables. growing great bud consistently is a skill. but i don't think "hard" is the word for it...

What I mean by hard is that you're pretty much married to your grow. Any plans to go away for the weekend are pretty much out the window. That's why alot of people wouldn't bother with growing their own.

Ok that I understand, and that was one of the reasons I haven't grown in a while. Holiday season isn't a good time to grow, vacation times also not good time to grow, but there are several periods during the year where there is not much going on. :winkwink:
