This dumb bitch Sarah (I don't care if she's innocent) said they would load the details into our account, I have yet to notice anything besides a brief few sentences of explanation in a "news" post in there, even after I have requested some extremely detailed statistics or SOMETHING to look at. This is largely unprofessional in the least.

I simply love how verohell continues to advertise on here yet they avoid this thread because of the blatant robbery they are trying to persue here.. rott in hell.

A couple hundred dollars I could easily understand. This is not a mistake.. it is a disaster.

I waited for that for a long time to and they finally did load all the stats. You can see the signup dates, nothing strange there, but all the chargebacks are on the same date. Sarah said that's the date they entered all this information in bulk into the system, they don't know the dates of the actual chargebacks. The only useful thing is that at least I know who the members are who supposedly charged back so I can email them and ask if that's true

Not if the bank was paying you for some work you performed for their client and then they are asking for the money back because they never got paid by that client. Not a perfect analogy either, but better than your "free money through ATM".

The money we got was not "free", it was for a service which we DID perform. Verotel's part, and their only purpose in life, is to collect the payment for that service which they failed badly.

Still waiting for Verotel's reply to my email last Thursday.

And no appearance by a rep in this thread, either.

anyone still using said company is just asking to loose out on some scratch

Shoplifter 04-21-2009 09:53 PM

So I am curious if anyone so far has actually had any of this money debited from their payouts?

blogsy 04-21-2009 11:51 PM

Verotel were always shit...but became even worse when they launched that tickets club nonsense years ago.

I would avoid them like the plague

mistermee 04-23-2009 08:38 AM

Anybody have a clue why their site is 404ing and they're not processing transactions?

squirtmaster 06-22-2009 01:03 PM

I am one of Verotel's first customers (1999) and every few months over the past 3 years they seem to have found a way to suck more questionable money from webmasters.

Shame on me for allowing myself to continue to get burned. My older sites will continue with them but the new ones will be using a different processor.

IMO, they need to just suck up the error and move on. It was not the client's fault in this case. It would be the same if a program had a bug and overpaid out all their affiliates and only notified the affiliates months later that they now owed the program $x money back.

However, I'm sure they are protected by their terms and offering to work it out instead of just taking it as one lump sum is nice of them to try at least.

This comes to mind:

With all Verotel's fees and fukups eventually webmasters might be owning them money each month.

I caught a lot of bugs and glitches in Verotel's early days and even spoke with Paul and Joost on the phone several times to help resolve them - but I stuck WITH them and WORKED TOGETHER toward a solution.

Now a days I expect emails each month stating why they have to take more money out of my account, without compromise.

Can't believe I actually have to go back to researching processors again.

bbobby86 06-29-2009 05:46 AM

Verotel verotel...

MainManRay 07-16-2009 11:48 AM

verotel sucks balls. always have, always will. Use Ibill or your grandmas bank account before them

they email your rebill subscribers each month to remind them to cancel wen a rebill is due, their support is the worst and their stats are the shittiest in the business. sadly the worst thing to come out of scamsterdam

BFT3K 07-16-2009 11:55 AM

Has anyone had a ticket club transaction processed by Verotel in the past 2 weeks?

Just wondering...

Yes.

I have had dozens. Both new, and recurring.

A bank doesn't suck it up when they make an error. Once they find out, they pull the money from your account. Same as a credit card company does on errors, over and underpayments.

Sorry toots. Online works no different then the real world does. That is what many in this fucking thread need to get through your heads. We, and they, ARE A BUSINESS. They correct the error like any real world bank, or business would.

You do not like it? Tough shit. Stop crying.

Dailydiapers 07-16-2009 01:52 PM

Verotel sales and rebills are up for me. Never had a problem with that charge-back situation either.

After a few rather depressing months, I think the economy is starting to turn a bit - at least as far as people spending a bit more again. I'd say I'm up about 20% over last month.

kristin 08-24-2009 10:26 AM

Any update on this whole thing?
