Business Concept: Porn Army

With the economy in the crapper and a ridiculous amount of people without jobs, I've been bouncing a business plan in my head an figured I'd bounce it off of you guys.

Putting together a porn team.

Actually hiring people to sit in an office and working together towards one common goal: Making Me Money.

One employee would handle blogging. One could handle gallery creation. One would handle SEO. Have an article writer.... You know, an entire army working together....

Has anyone here ever attempted something like this?

I think that is what is supposed to go on here, but it often deteriorates into making each other watch disturbing videos off of Rate My Shocker. I'm still trying to sort my head out after watching the dolphin clip our mobile format guy dared me to watch=(

thats a good idea, but you cant find these men.

you'd get assclowns who fuck around all day and achieve nothing.

I've been trying to assemble it myself. It is very hard. For once, I agree with DJ.

Almost anyone I found who was in the ballpark basically starts doing the work, and within a few days/week/month ends up giving up. They do not see instant returns, they just stop doing the work.

This has happened countless times over the years. I now have to more a less contract out blog, tgp, SEO or partner with people. However, even that is not full proof.

As Jim Gunn once told me... .it is best to find some local people who have no ties to industry. Train some worker bees, and have them doing what you need. Anyone in the biz is either a flake, lazy, or will end up leaving to do it on their own. Whether you wanna call that good sense, or greed.

Yep, most people have the wrong impression of how things work.

Most of the things in online business require hard, long & repetitive work to grow and for a long time you won't see not much profit or none at all. Not to mention all the idiots claiming they can do so much and talk so much bullshit and in the end they can't get shit done.

Everyone that has a clue is already building their own empire.

You would have better look with a solid outsourcing company who properly manages there employees on getting projects done. They want your repeat business and really do work hard.

These companies charge WAY too much, and they don't offer "per project" plans, they want you to rent their workers for months.

The China/India/Philippines/wherever solution does have merit, but it doesn't work for everything. Like writing. I'd basically defy you to find a decent writer from any of those places who'd do the work for the kind of money you'd want to pay him.

Definitely not a new idea at all... Plenty of affiliates with larger traffic sites and networks have grown into hiring several full time employees to maintain and grow the network.

Also a lot of programs will have a traffic generation department to boost their internal sales.

Well of course, if they are capable of putting in long hours for no return up front, they may as well work for themselves instead of sharing profits with you.

If you want someone to do the work for you, pay them a decent salary.

Salary has nothing to do with it.

Same as models. We've paid much more then we pay now when we started (more on par with adult industry standards), and much less (rock bottom $50 hour) that we pay now when we revised pay scale about 3-4 years back 1st time. Ya know what? Neither changed the behavior.

Of course not, why would someone interested in slow growth, long term gain, building an empire etc, work for someone else and not just for themselves? Its hard to find good workers, even harder to keep em. When I work with others I find I can be a little overbearing, but thats because I've figured out that if I want something done right, or right now, i'm the best person for the job.

I'm funner than AIDS, and easier to explain to your parents.
