For the record:

DarkJedi/DavyJones/Subzero/Kuat is not a pedo.

I had gotten caught up in the heat of the moment with DarkJedi and crossed the uncrossable GFY line. I simply let my anger get the better of me, and my better judgement. In short, I fucked up.

For that, I apologize to Dark Jedi.

Thank you.
:)

I love the IRS

I own a tax franchise. Im also an ERO. Yes irs can find anything they want. Most times though they only go after "the low hanging fruit". You dont want to be low hanging fruit. Or you will be paying me. :2 cents:

Easy wins. They have egos and like to win too. A big thing many people struggle with is "tax theory". Meaning: Does this really make sense? Also most webmasters make so little its not smart to dodge the IRS. You probably have so much to depreciate and so many expenses that you could easily lower your tax bill or eliminate it. That space between your mattress and computer is your home office lol.

Unless there's lots of money involved. And when i say money that is all relative to your industry. Each type of business is held to different standards. How you classify yourself, makes a big difference. I hope your not telling the IRS you sell porn :winkwink:...im in the information business myself lol

It is just a saying. However, it means the easiest to catch. Like... those who declare a loss every year, those who have a lot of questionable deductions, etc..

Is it possible that the bank in your country know all of your infos from your ATM card? Can they do this?

Diomed 03-14-2009 04:20 AM

Ok I'm still not understanding one thing,

which is to the people who get paid via epass from the sponsors so I guess it would exclude designers and people like that.

Doesn't the sponsor send a copy of your 1044 in at the end of the year anyway and report your total income?

So why would it matter where the money is located, when they know how much you made overall?

Its 1099 and thats true also...but it sometime takes them awhile to put 2 and 2 together plus they can give you up 3 yrs to file a return if you dont have a balance due.

SOOOOO not true. We are in Canada and when we got audited we had to give them access to our epassporte as well as show all the transactions we'd printed off (because epass is lame and doesn't keep the past transactions for long). We had reported the income but if we hadn't we would have been SOOOOOO FUCKED because they would have taken us to court to get access anyways.

Bryan G 03-14-2009 11:49 AM

Ive always wondered about the people that have a regular job and pay taxes every paycheck. THen they have done other shit and get paid epass, wonder if they report that or have to for that fact. Well I know they should, just wonder if they bother.

Doctor Feelgood 03-14-2009 12:07 PM
