I wish they would just stick with the 3d characters in 2d enviroments. I hate the camera swinging around in the newer RE games. The original felt like you were playing through a movie with different camera angles.

I could damn near just let my team kill everything and i just stand back and take out the tanks and hunters when I need...

The game is a lot easier than it should be...

Beating games with ease comes very natural to me...

L4D is SUPER easy!

I find the resident evil game sort of challenging, course I never really was a resident evil fan.

I just played F.E.A.R and im going to rent F.E.A.R 2 next... the first one was cool, better than L4D.

Call of Juarez is a cool western shootem up game.

Rainbow6 Vegas 2 is also pretty good, just took it back last week.


All are better than L4D. Dont get me wrong its a good game and a great zombie concept, especially how they can come from anywhere... But IT IS super easy to 'breeze' through...

I got Ranibow6 Vegas 2 in my collection, I'll admit, it's a lot harder than L4D. But fuck, if you blazed through all 4 campaigns of L4D on easy, then dabbled with a few advanced games and took it back, you didn't even dip your toes into the goodness. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume you never played much vs mode either, which is a whole new ballgame. Not necessarily hard, but playing as the infected is a whole different setup in itself. A game doesn't need to be hard to be good. Most of the fun in L4D is reaching the achievements.

As soon as I wrap up Lost Planet, I'm gonna go get Call of Juarez. It looks pretty slick, and I fucking LOVE western themed shooters. There are not enough of them. I'll give xbox props for bring a lot of them to the console.

I bought a ps1 last month just so I could play Gunfighter. :upsidedow

I didnt even play it on easy... I never do unless i absolutely have to which has been once... I always rock the normal and move up.

I'll admit no I didnt play vs and I really wanted to try the zombie side.

However, the game itself on campaign is just so easy. I dont want to downplay the coolness of the game, I just wish the campaign was a bit more challenging.

I had it for like 2 weeks. played it a bit.


Call of Juarez is a good western game. Like Gun though, its a smidge shorter than Id like. But id say it is better than GUN.

It is pretty cool all the way through. There is a couple levels where its not much action and mostly tredging terrain, But its cool nonetheless.

Especially the dual handed shooter action.

When I got F.E.A.R I was meaning to rent the second one. I even grabbed the game from behind a fear2 box... but when i got home it was the first one... I wanted to beat it within the 2 days to take it back(because i usually beat a game withint two nights of 4 hour playing... Im a freak like that with some games... but this turned out to last a bit longer. and it seemed cool enough I just played it through without going back to rectify the mistake.

Tell me the coolest game you have rented in awhile and ill see if it I can get it, really looking for some cool shit. New to playing xbox again... took a break, but now i do late at night...

I played resident evil for a couple hours last night and I gotta say its kind of impressive as far as graphics n shit. the controls are a little rough, but what resident evil isnt...

Im getting through it ok, some heavy fuckers coming at you but its all pretty awesome...

But for nwo I have work to do :thumbsup

Well yeah, when you puss out and let your team kill everything for you, I guess it's very easy. You mostly shot at the stuff that didn't move? Congrats. The AI players are supposed to be good at the game, try playing with actual people. It's more fun that way:2 cents:

I can't stand games that don't let you move and shoot at the same time. Controls killed this for me.

That sounds extremely fun... Im sure Ill pick it up cheap some day to do that...

I didnt say that is how I played, i said you could... After playing it to the fullest I played around with the team... I experiment, I enjoyed the game... The AI was nice in the sense of random distribution... but it was just easy is all... sorry for ever saying it :P

Sorry about getting snappy, I had just finished playing a campaign with two random newbies that managed to get me killed way too often. It's definitely harder with all humans.

Anyway, RE5 looks like a great game and based on the demo should be pretty fun :)

They really did something totally different with Mirror's Edge, and they pulled it offer really well.

SO i just beat RE 5 - pretty cool game.

I gotta say though the maneuvering could be a bit better. Thats really all that hindered any parts of the game was moving around for shots.

All around good game though :thumbsup

RE 5 - pretty cool game.

It's actually 5 games on one disc. Four you can play by yourself. It's a series and they included the previous game so you can play them all.

While it's a FPS there are some places where you won't be able to just run n gun your way out of it. You will have to figure your way out using what's available. You have the ability to pick up things and move them so if a window is too high to jump out you will have to find stuff to stack up to get out. This problem solving is what will keep you from finishing the disc in two days :winkwink:

The game has a great pace and you get to drive different vehicles as well. Graphics are pretty good with very interesting environments. The sound design is awesome. The game has been out for awhile and now sells for $19.95 new. NOTHING comes close to that value.

Didn't they take a lesson from Dead Space? That's how you do a third person control. At least you could shoot while on the move with that game.

I hardly get more than a few boards in before moving on to something else. My buddies have all finished FEAR 2, Mirror's Edge and Dead Space...which they all give good reviews for.

Fallout 3has managed to get some of my attention. L4D is my favorite form of stress relief.

I just finished Resident Evil 5 late last night. Eh. The ending is so shitty. :disgust

It doesn't even compare to Resident Evil 4. Hopefully, part 6 doesn't suck as hard as 5.

I wasn't too hot for Dead Space's pov. Took a whole lot of getting used too, and at times shit was just irritating.

Overall once I got used to the controls it was a great game, but I think it could have done with a more conventional pov.

I hate all you Fuckers that finished it already..

Running and shooting doesn't really matter to me in the Resident Evil series.
