No, YOU are missing the whole point. Go back and reread the thread. I admitted at least once before the post you quoted I know nothing about shooting content. THIS IS NOT A CONTENT SHOOTING ISSUE. Why do content shooters all seem to think they are doing something special, glamorous, or important? You're a business doing it's job. The point of argument here has to do with one of the costs associated with doing said business. I don't see lights, cameras, sets, or shooting having any part of this. Only an issue regarding the payment of contracted employees. Something I know plenty about.

If someone rolls through tomorrow paying these girls $5000 a bj scene, and can keep paying them that, well you guys (new or old) are just gonna have to fucking deal with it. This works both ways. Lets say that all of the sudden there's a surge of hot ass women prepared to fuck and suck on camera for $25/hour. All the content shooters are gonna throw their hands in the air and party like they just don't care. You know what that's gonna leave behind? A fuckload of models whining and bitching that they're getting undercut. Then are you gonna care? Not too likely. Don't the content shooters sell their exclusive content wherever they can get the best price for it? I would.

Models are an asset in the market, prices fluctuate like any market, and eventually they'll cycle back to a midway point where both sides can agree. You can't expect other businesses to come around and drop their rates to help you. That is just beyond fucking retarded, not the way the things work. It's a dreamland idea.

Until then, there'll be girls out there who will work in your price range. Work with them and hold out. Your only other option is to start paying the $500 if you want them, and then you're contributing to the inflation. If it's not in your mind worth $500, then don't pay it, and wait for things to cycle around and settle down.
