The problem with many of the haters is they are obsessed and will jump on anything they can to twist or even lie about the object of their hate. Some of it's personal and some of it's a business stance and becomes personal.
Here is the problem. Many board owners only look at it from a traffic and views POV. They see the hater, trolls and flaming as a good thing. Because it increases the page views, threads and posts. They ignore the fact that most of this traffic is garbage and might effect the profitability of advertising on a board.
It's not about the number of threads, posts and views. It's about the quality of people on the boards and I can tell you from a personal POV the effectiveness of many boards has crashed.
Yes sometimes he may say something that needed saying. But how often does he say things that do not need saying?
Again it's about quality.
But in an industry that saw traffic as the solution and while traffic was increasing ignored the worsening ratios I'm sure that will be ignored. As much as it needed saying. LOL

Great point. Then I guess it just comes back to the age old question of what the owners of this site want, and to ask that is futile.
I guess what I was saying more to the point is that I have known a lot of people who can say really fucked up things, downright mean things, and although on the surface they seem harsh, abrasive, obnoxious and mean, they really aren't that bad.
Maybe I am hardened by the years I spent/spend on IRC and see just about every sort of racial slur, disgusting links and childish flexing penis fights, or I just don't give a shit.
Its YOUR choice to let what people say bother you. You are in control of your body and a forum post has no effect on what you type, say and think. If you choose to let a word, post, person bother you, then its your choice on how you react to it too.
