I think nats is great and I think the nats guys are all great. We have been on the same software since even before Nats was around and our support is excellent. Would not make much sense changing at this point.

For more than 7 years now I've been an affiliate of one RK Net Media program or another. Currently I send quite a few joins to their programs combined.

There's very few companies that stand the test of time like Nasty Dollars and Bang Bros and I can tell you there's even fewer I can rely 100% on getting paid from and taken care of by. There's no company I trust more with my traffic and any of you jumping to insane conclusions about their credibility are just being absurd.

I've had an account with them for years... and its been a few years since I've done anything, but this thread is AWESOME advertising for a program like BangBros...

They're good people, in my books and I had no problems logging into my account for the first time in probably 3 years :)

Might have to put my site back up and start promoting again... and you can bet yer ass there'll be banners of theirs up :)

My OP - I contacted you, you asked for a passport scan. "To reactivate this account we require that you verify your ID with us. You can do this by sending us a copy of your passport". To solve the login issue I assume. I do so, and get an email back, stating my accounts have both been banned. I ask why, and get "Sorry but we are unable to reactivate your account. from a business standpoint we cannot reopen your accounts". I email again, and get "The reason your accounts are closed is due to a high number of chargebacks. This means it is costing us money to keep your account active".

Was I told my account had been banned? Nope. Were you still accepting my traffic? Yep.

Here's what I don't get:
Why wasn't I sent an email telling me my account was banned?
If my traffic is high-risk, and is costing you money, why were you still taking it?
If my problem was just a login issue, why do you need my passport?
If my issue wasn't a login problem, and the passport scan was needed to verify myself, due to another problem, ie CBs, why do you state here that this entire thing is a simple login problem that is easily taken care of?
Why am I seeing people across boards stating their recently closed accounts are due to CBs?
How am I getting a high CB ratio on an account that hasn't sent a sale since October 2008?
Why is it taking so long - since Friday 3pm my time and counting - 92 hours so far - to get the CB stats I requested?

I don't think that was making a mountain out of a mole hill and any problems BB got they brought on themselves.

Am I an affiliate? Frankly if that were the an absolute criteria that everyone had to have before they flamed a site I would love it. It never has been a criteria and never will be. But I was flamed for it by Jordan and a few others.

This is my criticism of BB.
They are relying on affiliates to contact them, they made the mistake and it should be the other way around.

It seems to me that unless Jel had "Run to the Boards." He would still be banned. How many other people as well is a guessing game.

BB got upset when it post it on other boards, they had not posted and neither had anyone else. If they rely on boards to get the news around why are they complaining about people posting it on boards? I take this back if they sent out an email, but we all know how well emails work.

Is it only 15? unless they have gone through their system how do they know, or is it only 15 who contacted them? How many have seen the thread, logged in and seen the problem and said "Fuck it, time to move links."

Also from the response here, the Pond and B&B there seems to be more.

So Steve if you are the stand up guys you and others claim to be go through your logs and find all those who can't log in from the update and go through their logs with a fine tooth comb. No need to ask for a passport to put right your mistakes.

first off we have never pointed fingers or deferred blame from anyone. we said there was a problem, we are doing our best to fix. so paul i don't know where that comes from. yeah we were all confused as to why you were trying to instigate on another board when you aren't an affiliate(which if i recall correctly not a single person of the 40 or so posts supported you). we don't get into your business about content, and i know you're trying to say "i'm looking out for everyone else" or "ethics". but it makes our jobs a lot easier trying to fix everyone we can instead of causing/creating more rumors.

jel, i'm sorry i wasn't given your cb stats over the weekend. most people don't work over the weekend(not referring to myself). then i was given the wrong dates for you yesterday. then when i told you this you told me to forget it, you said cancel your other account with us(which i didn't yet). so please don't go and add this to our "lack of business". you said forget it, i moved on. do i want to lose you as an affiliate? not at all. but you said you can't do business with us, so be it.

you few guys are really trying to blow something out of proportion. a small, small percentage of people have been affected compared to our numbers of affiliates we have. i have dealt with everyone that has msged or emailed me, including seeking out those that were saying they had a problem but weren't getting in touch with me. (i guess this makes me a stand up guy now paul). as i've said several times, i'm available at 438528520 or [email protected]

I have an account with bangbros since 2006 and works perfect getting sales and sending traffic never got a problem and the support was always good. I think whomever has issues with them has two options talk to them to solve it or move on..

If he was the only person, then they should be thankful he brought it to the boards. If he is not the only person then clearly their "best" was not good enough. Maybe if you want to keep his and other peoples accounts you had better look at this from the other side. You should not be flaming him for doing what he did bringing it to the boards. Not anyone else to boards that have been missed while you're doing your best.

And getting the wrong dates given to you, if this was an internal employee your best is not good enough.

Getting your account canceled is not a small problem, it might be for you but it's not fot the people who suffered from this.

Yes contacting all those who were terminated and did not contact you makes you a stand up guy NOW. Did you need me to nudge you towards that, because originally you did not ask for that. So please be careful who you flame and over what.

please tell me when i blamed you for our software problem. actually tell me when i blamed anyone else for OUR software problem. go on every board and show me that. and please go and reread where it says "i just signed up for this board to address this problem" and why have i not posted on netpond? because admin didn't authorize me till yesterday, and by that point we were accused of colluding with the government to catch terrorists under the patriot act. a little too ridiculous for me to get involved at that point. and why did i not post on the one the thread where you got torn up on another board? because of that point exactly, i didn't need to contribute anymore to it.

and it wasn't an internal employee with the wrong dates. chargebacks come from the processor and/or the credit card companies. bangbros does not own a credit card company.

I never said I did not feel you were qualified. So where did you get that from. I said I did not think you were doing enough. Days after telling affiliates they had to contact you it now seems you were already contacting them. Interestingly enough, nobody here is 'blaming' anybody except people like you who don't read the whole thread before opening your mouth, and Paul who apparently his business has gotten so slow he has nothing better to do than critique that of others.

Bangbros doesn't "have" to do shit, like Steve has said a number of times already some webmasters simply contacted them and then others came running to the boards, then there's the asshats who hopped on board on the forums, and decided it was better worth their while to complain and bitch and whine like a menopausal female, than to actually get on icq and do something about it.

Paul thinks he's "in the right" and he can think that all he wants, but I'd love to see how he would react if someone got as in his face as he is getting, trying to tell him how to run his business. Maybe something like "Keep your wrinkly old ass outta the content production, people don't want to see it" Point is, its none of his business; he doesn't own and operate or even work for BangBros, and if he was sincere in his motivations, he would have come up with a much more pleasant approach to his "helpful suggestions" instead of running all over the entire web throwing threads here and there like chicken little screaming that the sky is falling.

Ultimately, I think that the sponsors are there to provide the paysites, the promotional content, but it is up to the webmasters to keep track of and maintain their own accounts. BangBros is not here to babysit every single fucking one of you...
