Fear controlling me? Did you even read a word I wrote? I don't believe in the concept of God or the Devil, but I am at least smart enough to know that I don't know shit. For all I, or anyone else knows, the wackjob Scientologists are right and some alien named Xenu created the world.
Atheism is no different than any organized religion, in that you are putting your faith in something that you do not know for a fact is true. You don't know that there is no god any more than a religious wacko knows that there is one. All anyone can do is speculate, and that is what you are doing.
As for not believing in Buddha, Siddhārtha Gautama was a real person and a philosopher, his life is not exactly up to interpretation of whether or not you believe in him. Use your head... |
