The girl was stubborn, you could yell all you want to get her to come back in the house and she wouldnt. Then 6 months later we bought the male and things changed, she still remains the leader of the pack, but she will follow her brother when its time to come in the house, she wont pee inside the house any longer and when its "no" she understands and wont do it again.
We were warned prior to buying them that they are stubborn, but they are amazing dogs. they were recommended by a couple of vets here in town as they are very good and gentile with infants, when around children its so cool to watch them.
If your looking to buying a Beagle, i do suggest Training Mats for the first 3 months, if you have a yard install an underground electrical fence (they will tend to adventure as they are pure bread hunters). |
