My moms brother (my uncle) killed himself a month ago. Suicide is the cowards way out. my aunt had fought with him the night before and he said "don't worry you'll never see me alive again". Those were his last words to her and now she is devastated.

Wow man, I really agree with you there.. Not usually I gotta admit, however you pretty much took the words out of my fingers here..

Suicide doesn't have to be such a sad thing. It's your life, and if you decide you want it to end like, now, then by all means. Maybe they've just lived enough already.

i'm not saying either side is right or wrong. i'm simply saying that the arguments against suicide and particularly that its selfish, ignores the simply fact that the argument itself is also rooted in selfishness and selfish motives.
