If thats his first bike and he is not experienced, you should get him on a course on some shitty ass bike and teach him the things that the class he took skipped.

What's that, 150 nanoseconds? I will see about downsizing for our third world friend.

Looks like fun Baddog.. I do like your bike better though! Personal preference I guess. I like the pipes on his, but I like the simplicity of yours.

Hey is it a lot different riding your bike vs one like his? Pros and cons?

I like my bike better too, but that is why they make so many models.

Personally, I hate his pipes. I do not like the way they look and they are way too loud for even me. I told him he is going to get me a ticket. They have to go.

His bike is much more comfortable than mine. If I am taking a long trip I would take his bike over the one I rode yesterday. In reality, if I was going on a long trip I would take

My bike looks nice and is great for the city. I rode close to 250 miles yesterday and I feel like I rode 250 miles yesterday.

His bike I could ride for 700 miles a day on a road trip if I desired.

Actually, I thought so at first, but she was just ass grabbing. Or so she says.

What the hell took him so long? :D

Different priorities? Thinking that for some reason I would just give him one of mine? Realizing that if he didn't get some riding time in I would give my bikes to someone else in my will? Not sure.

Don't see the point of a shitty ass bike, but I did take him out on a course. He did residential, mountain roads, switchbacks, highway and a little freeway.

He was being taught all day.

I am sure he enjoyed it as much as you did. Did you get pics of the event? I know I am glad we did . . . for that eventuality.

Twistys Tim 05-26-2009 10:05 AM

That looks great Baddog -- I am hoping to have one of those experiences myself a few years down the line :)

The Heron 05-26-2009 10:21 AM

I had my motorcycle endorsement before I had my license that's how bad my dad wanted me riding. Took the class when I was 15 had to wait until 16 to actually drive haha

Phoenix 05-26-2009 10:22 AM

nice...i want a harley as well...good for you guys to enjoy something together

Anthony 05-26-2009 10:35 AM

Great pics, and the bond when you can share something you love with your son is priceless. I get that feeling every time I get on the mats with my kid and he tries to kill me. One day, he will get that tap, and I'll be a proud papa. :)

HookUPcom 05-26-2009 10:37 AM

Awesome!!!

Way to go.

Horny Joe 05-26-2009 10:42 AM

I wasn't going to force the issue . . I knew it would happen eventually.

Never let them see you sweat. :) My son and I were messing around after he graduated from the academy. I would rather have him on my good side. :)

That's why I'm getting my licks in now, he's 14, 6', 175lbs. I wasn't that till 19. I'm in a world of hurt in the next few years.

Vicious_B 05-26-2009 01:22 PM

Congrats on your new riding partner. Were you really suprised?

Nice bikes, cute son.

Don't show him everything. You need to keep a trick or two up your sleeve. :1orglaugh

Thanks. I knew he would eventually get a bike, but in the current economic situation, I did not expect it at the moment.

Porko 05-26-2009 03:11 PM

yea same here. I could legally ride before I could drive, but I eventually gave up riding after I nearly killed myself a few different times.

nice pics, good times BD.
