i'd only consider paying 2+ yrs revenue if its a mainstream site that's ~10 yrs old that has a solid history. for adult sites that aren't that old it's usually just a few months revenue, so i'll pass on this one.

you are talking nonsence. that's more like 80k+. try looking at thousands of search results and you'll get an idea where his traffic is comming from. i fuckin' hated him while his site kept appearing in front of mine! 30+ months in revenue price is too high, though.

A 50k Alexa is way less than 50k/day of traffic.

Those things differ heavily but yea from what I've seen usually a 50k alexa is a bit lower than 50k uniques per day.

Not always true, Alexa bases on Page Views... I've seen sites with 5,000 daily have a 15k alexa, all because it's a board and gets high page views per user.

Mr.Right is batts just do a search on previous posts changing your nick doesnt get rid of old posts.

I don't take too much notice of Alexa rank - it's not a very accurate indicator of how much traffic a website is getting. As far as I'm aware, the basis of Alexa rank is the frequency of visits to a website from users who have the Alexa toolbar installed, which I'm guessing is a pretty small number of geeks.

Also, some of my websites have a far worse Alexa rank than others but still get much more traffic. I know a guy who recently had a mainstream site with Alexa rank of around 100k and he was getting less than 5k traffic per month. I guess you can never tell for sure without seeing the actual traffic stats.

Alexa is often very accurate... You just need to know how to read it...

50,000 alexa rank does not = 50K traffic...
