Those things differ heavily but yea from what I've seen usually a 50k alexa is a bit lower than 50k uniques per day.

Not always true, Alexa bases on Page Views... I've seen sites with 5,000 daily have a 15k alexa, all because it's a board and gets high page views per user.

Sorry People I have very bad flu at the moment. I am trying to sort things out with a package but it is not working properly.

AS to MR RIGHT = Dark Jedi, trust me on this one. Who else on a Sunday evening is going to devote his whole time to wasting his hours on a message board annoying people. Well apart from Lazy Cash.

And Lazy Cash, don't get jealous that I am selling. I am simply past the stage where I have to spam my referral link in webcam threads. :2 cents:

I don't take too much notice of Alexa rank - it's not a very accurate indicator of how much traffic a website is getting. As far as I'm aware, the basis of Alexa rank is the frequency of visits to a website from users who have the Alexa toolbar installed, which I'm guessing is a pretty small number of geeks.

Also, some of my websites have a far worse Alexa rank than others but still get much more traffic. I know a guy who recently had a mainstream site with Alexa rank of around 100k and he was getting less than 5k traffic per month. I guess you can never tell for sure without seeing the actual traffic stats.

Alexa is often very accurate... You just need to know how to read it...

50,000 alexa rank does not = 50K traffic...
