Sorry People I have very bad flu at the moment. I am trying to sort things out with a package but it is not working properly.
AS to MR RIGHT = Dark Jedi, trust me on this one. Who else on a Sunday evening is going to devote his whole time to wasting his hours on a message board annoying people. Well apart from Lazy Cash. And Lazy Cash, don't get jealous that I am selling. I am simply past the stage where I have to spam my referral link in webcam threads. :2 cents: |
I don't take too much notice of Alexa rank - it's not a very accurate indicator of how much traffic a website is getting. As far as I'm aware, the basis of Alexa rank is the frequency of visits to a website from users who have the Alexa toolbar installed, which I'm guessing is a pretty small number of geeks.
Also, some of my websites have a far worse Alexa rank than others but still get much more traffic. I know a guy who recently had a mainstream site with Alexa rank of around 100k and he was getting less than 5k traffic per month. I guess you can never tell for sure without seeing the actual traffic stats. |
Alexa is often very accurate... You just need to know how to read it...
50,000 alexa rank does not = 50K traffic... |
