OK to put the record straight, riding shotgun means you are sitting in the FRONT PASSENGER seat of a vehicle..
The origin of the term is possible from the old western days when the guy in the front other than the driver was there with a shotgun to protect the carriage..

It is a good piece of Americana... and great slang expression also.

:thumbsup

also, *ridin bitch* can refer to the middle person ridin in a truck, on a bench seat. this is also a "call shotgun" situation. whereby the shotgun caller gets window and is allowed one *hah, you're ridin bitch!* comment.

Its very similar to my ST1300. It will feel top heavy at parking lot speeds, but that will go away when you get over 10mph. Very smooth, almost electric-feeling. Much better in the curves and braking than your Harley.

On hiways, you wont like it as much. Too quiet, almost boring. But the electric adjustable windscreen is great (I love that on my bike). Keep in mind its a sport touring bike, not a cruiser or a touring machine.

Does he have a wife on the back? What does she think? How does that trailer handle? Does it slow you down much?
