Even the cheap "Arcade" version has an HDMI out now. No cable though.

I have PS3 and I wouldn't change it to Xbox.
The graphics are pretty much the same on both consoles. It all boils down to which system's controller you like, and if there's exclusive titles on either machine that are 'must haves' for you. |
I prefer the PS3 as well, it also comes with the Blu-Ray player and has a better controller
|
ps3 all the way, but im getting an xbox to play with the xbox people i know. only cod tho!
|
I have both and 360 is better for gaming...PS3 does have bluray though so if thats a big deal to you it might be worth it...games though its 360 for sure
|
i have ps 3 and is too good to change for x360
|

|
I went with the PS3 cause i love the blue ray player. I'm not a big gamer and I only have like 4 or 5 games for it but i have over 30 blue ray discs and more in the mail
never played on a xbox360 but i did win a xbox years ago at the phx forums from xxx cash (I think that's the name of them |

|
PS3 if you want to brag to others and appear as if you have more money.
xbox360 if you're serious about gaming. |

Thanks again for all the good information everyone. I am still undecided. It was a tie in the beginning of this thread as far as poll results but then 360 shot out in front and stayed there. It seems everyone loves the 360. I haven't played the PS3 online yet. Lets take for instance COD4, it seems the graphics are more clear somehow and the gameplay is smoother and faster. I have played it on both systems. I do not want to be one a yuppy just buying the ps3 for status but I am still leaning towards it.

- free online play - runs more smoothly - much more clean interface it just feels nicer on ps3, it feels like a better console and my xbox only gets played for xbox exclusives now |

Games like Resistance and Killzone 2 absolutely blow the doors off of anything you will find on the 360 right now. The game library and the online experience are what might give the edge to the 360. If you want something that's more of a graphics processing powerhouse, the PS3 is the system of choice. |
Dont like video games, but a *bump* for your contest! ;)
|
360 all the way!!
|
I have both, and a very high end PC built for gaming.
I play on the PC most of the time, the xbox is #2, and I hardly ever play the PS3. |
PS3 for me, I have one, it has the advantage of blu-ray ... Plus no red ring of death ...
|
Xbox 360 has won this generation of the gaming wars. PS3 will never out produce them in the gaming department even though they have a better system hardware wise. They just timed it wrong and Microsoft outsold them.

Got 2 xbox360 and 1 PS3
Play online games with the xbox Offline games, bluray, dvd and other media files with the PS3. At the electronics stores they say the PS3 is the best bluray player out there. |
