iBill Continues Momentum in Slowing Economy
April 11, 2009 (Denver, CO) - iBill, inc (iBill), a leader in online transactions processing, announced today it will expand operations and hire a substantial number of customer service representatives to accommodate its growing client base of businesses around the world.
New Corporate Headquarters
iBill is re-locating Glendale, CO. The new iBill corporate headquarters will house administrative offices only. The office that will host the data center capable of hosting the company`s entire production suite as well as the payment processing center for all lockbox payments are still kept under wraps as this is a secure location. Moving to the new datacenter building more than doubles iBill`s operational space and provides room for growth.
"We're pleased to be in a position to expand our operations and add to our team," said Jonas Brown, CEO of iBill. "iBill remains committed to delivering the most secure e-commerce options that provide superior online payment processing."
About iBill
iBill (iBill Inc.) is a provider of turnkey e-commerce solutions for small and large businesses around the world. The company provides secure transaction services that enable merchants to accept and process real-time payments for goods and services purchased over the Internet. It also manages all back-office functions including reporting, tracking, customer service, sales transactions and helps small businesses offer consumer financing to their customers. I just called them. The man who answered the phone said that he was an orginal programmer from the "late Ibill." He said that the "new" Ibill bought the name/trademark but are a different company. When I asked him if using the "Ibill name" was turning out to be business suicide, he said it was actually the opposite. According to "this man" who answered the phone, web sites are doing business with them based on the Ibill name.
When Ibill went down they owed me over 20k. This is a significant amount of money but would not justify hiring an attorney to do the necessary research and pursure it in court. Consider all of the folks who lost money, but not enough for an expensive lawsuit, and it really seems like the founders of Ibill took an extended paid vacation and are now back, shamless and shifty as ever.

Sure, I'd sign on. So would a lot of other folks. This was discused years ago with they first went under. However, it would take a lot ot organize and fiance. At this point, who has that kind of time or wants to risk throwing good money after bad? Maybe this is exactly what the founders of ibill were counting on.
Here is what gets me about the way Ibill went down. For months, they sent out sincerely worded emails about how they planned to catch up on their payments. They appealed to the good faith of long term customers. Theirs was a manipulative and calculated
plan. Now the founders are re entering the very market they screwed over. Do they think that there is such a high turn over rate in this business that no one will remember what they did? Ibill was referred to as the Enron of the Adult business in the mainstream press. Now here they go again. Their nerve is amazing.
Something tells me that Ibill will be raking in the cash and laughing at the losers who trust them once again. They believe they are above it all. A class action suit would probably work if someone had enough time to take away from their daily business to devote to it. But most of us have moved on. KARMA is what will get these fuckers. Remember the black goblins that came out of the sewers to claim the bad people in the movie Ghost? The visual is kind of hokey, however, it is exactly what I imagine will be waiting for the founders of Ibill.
In the meantime, spread the word. Heck, better than polling our money to sue these horrible, awful, no good people, would be to buy an anti Ibill banner right here. The banner could go to to a web site with news articles about what they did. That, I would contribute money to. Anyone want to head it up?

I know someone who could do it. Whether he would or not is another matter. He goes by the name "Fightthispatent" on GFY, and at one time made it his mission to organize the collective fight against Acacia and their rather tyranical attempt to enforce a patent they'd purchased which involved video streaming. I agree. If Ibill would settle up on the money they owe me, I would shut the fuck up. The hundreds if not thousands of people who were screwed out of money from Ibill would probably be so gosh darn thrilled to get the money they are owed from Ibill, they would shut the fuck up too. It just doesn't seem likely that Ibill will pay anyone but themselves.

It was amazing how the "sales rep" who picked up the phone for new account set up said the former Ibill was owned by "another company" when clients stopped being paid. It wasn't the old Ibill's fault countless webmasters lost thousands of dollars. Even if it was, the new Ibill doesn't have anything but a trademark name associated with the old IBill...aside from the orginal programmers, of course.
Do they really expect the webmasters they stole from to stay down and accept the ass fucking? How is it that they are getting new sign ups and new business? Could it be small businesses that do not know any better or larger businesses that they made sure to pay off before not paying their smaller accounts?

1. These guys had nothing to do with the owners of the old iBill.
2. They must not be very bright using the iBill name if they really want to sell to adult merchants.Comment

I dont believe the crap that these new IBILL ass hats spout for one micro second. When Iballs went down it spawned at least half a dozen clones. These clone companies where all started by ex Iballs employees. They all saw how Iballs was being run and how the Adult webmaster was being skinned alive. Im sure they thought to themselves, wow all those webmaster got taken for millions and no one did a thing about it, so I guess we can do the same.
Take Smegpay and recent posts on GFY about them billing for tube site knowing full well that tube site profit from others stolen content. And when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar WTF did they do, try to wiggle out of it and when GFY would not let it die they termed the client. Im sure had GFY members not posted about this incident they would still be a client.
I will never ever trust any company that was started by ex employees of IBALLS even if they just washed dishes there. They all seem to be tarred with the same brush. I seriously dont see why the onus is on the content owner to police every site on the web just to have his ? content removed from a site. Better that the processing company checks up front. CCBill does regular checks so why not Smegpay ?
