That statement about the "Traffic God" is interesting but in a psychoanalytical way, heh...

Shap 07-10-2009 10:27 AM

Hey Steve. I heard a lot about your wrong way project. If you'd like to sell any of the content you shot for it let me know. Hit me up.

You know that horrible feeling you get after you jerk off in a crowded room with everyone watching, and just after you cum you say to yourself "hey - this may not have been a great idea" when you realize that everyone in the room has a camera, and you earlier told your wife you were at Walmart shopping for a new TV.

This thread made me feel worse than that feeling

:thumbsup

Why do chicks in wedding dresses turn you on? :winkwink:

fuzebox 07-10-2009 12:24 PM

I'm liking Steve's return.

How will you adapt in this current market with demanding and impatient sufers that want quality, quantity and community (using current or new business models)?

Evil Chris 07-10-2009 02:28 PM

Am I too late?

My question is: How many times has this been done before?

GetSCORECash 07-10-2009 02:34 PM

Great read Steve.

How nice, the reverse question :winkwink:
Back to the drawing board to find the, non-thought off yet, solution?

i suggest you take a look again, if anything the number of people who realize that "illegal" tube sites are protected by the safe harbor provision of the DMCA has increased.

When you left people kept arguing with me on those legal points

now those who hired a lawyer to check it out, know that i was right about those legal points

love to see the tube killer you came up with

although i will be the first one to predict that it will fail.

Steve,
BTW... I have been trying to sign up for your solo girl board for a long time now and can not. Just tried again and got the same message:

Please take a look at that. I would like to be part of that board as I have some solo projects going live soon. Thanks.

LOL indeed that is a funny post. And as Steve correctly said we all have an ego.

Still it was all cool as shit. I have only existed in this biz because of leaders who have gotten it done since day one.

I'm not so sure where you get the word "non-niche" from since I use the wor d "Niche" very much in my post :).

I've never compared net worth statements with any of them. Anyone can spend a million to make a million, its more about what you KEEP than what you SPEND. "Rich" is relative. :2 cents:

I owned gay sites too. I'm not gay so I wasn't able to effectively market them. Now I stick to what I understand.

Our next project, starting from ground up, has a $200k budget. If I could do more programming myself, it would cost much less. There is alot to be said for "sweat equity" to keep costs low.

I just meant that there might still be a place for a good niche site, but definitely not for another general hardcore porn site.

good luck with your tube killer

maybe it will make you as famous as Jack Valenti
"I say to you that the VCR is to the American film producer and the American public as the Boston strangler is to the woman home alone. "

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

btw if you have actually paid attention it have told you exactly how to profit of tubes and torrents. To bad you don't actually listen.
