You have to understand that sometimes people don't read EVERY thread on GFY or even every post in a particular thread that they are interested in and make polls about, as you clearly didn't in the ibill thread that THEY THEMSELVES started and initially defended themselves until they realised it was as futile as trying to piss in the wind and not damaging your white trousers.
We are talking here about a billing company that ripped off adult webmasters (including many of the ones here) for millions of dollars five short years ago.

Somehow I don't think it's really necessary to "read EVERY thread on GFY" to have a clue about iBill :1orglaugh

That is great - you said in mainstream business iBill would not get away with this and also compared them to Enron. Enron fooled the entire financial markets for years and years way more so than iBill fooled anyone. So yes, it can happen in mainstream too.

Hi there,

The poll, nice.

I do care about what you all have to say. I just been out of town for the past few weeks. I am back now till I leave for Amsterdam next month so I will reply more often for sure.

First of all, Miami was great and all the people there were real cool to talk to.

As far as some questions in the post.

1. No, we don't have any former (2002 on) iBill employees working here.

2. I am more then happy to answer and questions you might have.

3. We don't have any idea on how to get in touch with the old owners. We did not get the database records in the sale so I am sorry for that.

They have received so much hate mail - phone calls - lawyers letters etc. that a message board is not going to influence them one bit. Face it from what I have seen in the past, they are masters of remolding the truth into whatever image they want to pass. They truly believe that they are right, and refuse to admit what happened or play a shell game assuming GFY and webmasters are idiots not to see it's the same.

There is also the element that new webmasters don't have a clue so they could be feeding off of that market

I think they are realizing how stupid it was to come back under the iBill name.

Why continually fight with WMs on the board? Gives them a bad face, much that can't be recovered because of past incidents, why should they bother?

If I ran this company, I would be doing a lot of 1:1 contact and staying off the boards. It just fuels the fire.

This thread exactly shows why they don't post. Without any statements from them, it needs alot of bumps to keep it alive, while one post of them would be good for 5 pages in an hour. They sit, wait and hope the storm is over soon.
