I noticed alot of posts stating that they never recieved a response after link submission. Is this because hoes.com wants keep their link up on the recip. end for as long as possible? I'm just curious because I see alot of people submitting links to various places and not recieving a 'denied' response - not very professional IMO.

Half the people they decline probably didn't follow the simple rules to submit, or required site type (ie no spam or splogs). And they probably get oodles of submissions.

I wouldn't be sending decline emails either. Also, I don't think decline emails are standard in any of the 'adult submission' type sites.

Would you really want to have to explain to 100 people a day that their sites suck balls?

I must be strange because yes I actually would like to explain to 100 people a day that their site regretfully did not make the cut. I couldn't imagine leaving many newbs hanging like that ... just dosen't seem right. It would be through a generic email denial response off course. Common sense shit -

Um... we accepted your site today... 3 days after you submitted it. How fast do you expect these things to happen?

If a site is good quality and they just need to make a quick fix to get listed, we write them back. If the site is garbage and isn't following the rules, why bother writing back?

this is my second time, first time I didn't put a link on the blog, but rather the home/index page.

Mostly handwritten with a feed every 5 days or so.

Today is the 23rd (6 days after submitting) and you still haven't added my site, although your link has been front and center since day 1. How fast do I expect those things to work? alot faster than the speed you are going.

You never returned ICQ messages, nor emails sent from within your site and now you are telling me that you could care less about replying to the 'garbage' site owners because due to the fact their site is not exceptable you dont feel you have an obligation to respond to them? It's just common courtesy to have a generic reply on hand for those that dont make it.

I don't do business with people who forget where they come from. Thank you for excepting our site but I am going to have to pull out of the link exchange.

So what happened to all the blog links? I just noticed mine were no longer up, nor any other blogs were listed anymore. Nice way to get some one way links.

I noticed the same thing for my blog links, sent a bunch of emails (also had a question on MovieRoom), got no response, tried the contact form on the site, finally gave up and pulled the links (for the recips obviously, not for MovieRoom.) Maybe there is a tech glitch or something over at Hoes.com that they are working on but haven't fixed yet or someone has something where they are temporarily offline or something?

I've been waiting damn near a year for my paysite to get re-listed....You said that there is a long cue of reviews....However, you promoted my site for YEARS......Why must I wait this long after all of that when it's easier to just throw up the site that you already know is good?

edit......And I got the email from your people asking for a link to be put up to YOU and this was supposed to be before y'all even would get around to reviewing the site so after a long ass time and no response, I took the link down.....

If random people were hitting you up asking for a link, that's one thing.....But to start a big ass thread on gfy about it and then make people go through all of this is very counter productive.

And then take all them links down.
